The number of spam I am receiving is ridiculous. I have changed my password multiple times and it doesn't make a difference. Your need to do something.

The spam filter settings are gone from my mail setting. ALL of the spam is coming to my mail box.

Apparently the spammers were not culled by Covid
Too bad
They were probably too evil to catch the virus, because they have cropped up like a plague of locusts again

The amount of SPAM is impossible. Does AOL no longer care? I'm getting as much SPAM lately as email. AOL is past it's prime. Time for a decent burial.

Why so many Spams? Suddenly there are something like 100 per day. Yes, they are in a "spam" mail box,but why are they just not deleted by AOL as they were in the past?

I'm reading the comments, and frankly, I'm amazed. I am VERY pleased with the way AOL handles Spam on my account - once I tell them something is spam, I seldom see anything even close to that again.
I'm curious about what drives the amount of spam you all are receiving. I sometimes have 30 or 40 pieces of mail in my spam folder - and that's after a couple of days. I can't imagine receiving more than 100 daily.
Anyway - I originally came here to thank AOL for their work - and I still mean that. For me, they're doing a great job -

This week I have got so much emails from Fed x about not being able to deliver a package, today alone I have received over 100 of them. The best part I have no package, the email is not from Fed x, and in a spam folder which it gets deleted numerous times. AOL needs to start blocking these, or I will have to move my email to another location, to much garbage is coming into my email.

I have never had so much spam- over 150 per day. I changed my mail setting to only known contacts and the amount of spam has increased not decreased. Many are duplicates so it is overwhelming to the point I can't check to make sure my legitimate mail is part of this. If I get repeats, I block them but there are probably more than the limit.

AOL only allows 1000 email addresses to block at one time. The problem is much bigger than that with spam bombing from the same sender, probably a robot, going on with hundreds of spam emails, some pornographic, being delivered to my inbox and spam folder every day. I will switch to gmail or yahoo as they do not have this problem. AOL needs to do a better job of blocking these spam emails. It is too much of a nuisance to deal with anymore. AOL needs to fix this problem.
