Are you deliberately MAKING IT IMPOSSIBLE to use AOL mail for Verizon customers???
First, you eliminate my e-mail client software, Outlook, then you start making me use my phone to get security codes in order to use e-mail.
You have one **** of a nerve! No wonder AOL went from the biggest in the business to the bottom of the heap!!! Goodbye Verizon, hello Optimum.

From the very beginning when Verizon made the decision to have AOL handle its email, things have down downhill and continue to do so. Verizon stated that AOL was one of the best email handling companies. That is a BLATANT LIE! AOL is one of the worst email handling companies -- probably the WORST!!! AOL NEVER has been anything but a TERRIBLE company with respect to email -- it's just gotten worse and worse as time progressed. Verizon was "duped" to even thinking that AOL was very good at handling email. My experience with my Verizon email account has been extremely TERRIBLE and FRUSTRATING ever since AOL took over Verizon's email service. It's no wonder that many Verizon users have abandoned Verizon email or even abandoned Verizon completely. Both AOL and Verizon really don't care about email users. Many, many, many times either sending or receiving email from my Verizon email account using Outlook or the iOS Mail App fails due to the email server not responding! Verizon and AOL need to STOP advertising themselves as a prime Internet company since both are NOT!!!

I have to get security codes on my cell phone to log into my AOL account. Then it keeps saying it doesn't recognize my computer. Also, puts some of my emails in trash. This is terrible and you can't get any help unless you pay for it. What happened to customer service that helps with problems?

Terrible security plan. Security is supposed to keep the bad guys out - NOT YOUR CUSTOMERS!!!
