I've been an aol customer for nearly 30 years and now i have to pay to get rid of adverts that never used to be there before.....Why???
You put them on there, so you get rid of them.....i don't want them & certainly didn't ask or agree to them popping up, annoyingly!!

There have been MULTIPLE threads here objecting to AOL's placement of ads inside users' InBox
there were over 500 objections added to these threads objecting to the AOL's "email ads"
the response by AOL to these objections was to make the threads "Closed for Comment"
and do nothing about these Ads which are intentionally designed to fraudulently mislead AOL email users to believe these are "personal" emails
These ads inserted into the AOL InBoxes as email messages are: (1) a fraudulent, unfair and deceptive trade practice by; and (2) a serious security risk and privacy breach to the InBoxes of AOL email users
I have personally posted on this website over a dozen objections over the past 2 years to this practice of AOL
So AOL, here is my response to your continuation of this disturbing practice:
I will NEVER click on any of those fraudulent emails
I will keep a running list of all the names of the advertisers who are paying for those emails and completely boycott their products
Maybe at some point your advertisers will finally understand this fraudulent, unfair and deceptive trade practice by AOL is actually damaging their business and causing them to LOSE customers
