Spam icon not showing number of pieces in folder
I don't like the change to the spam folder which no longer shows how many pieces of mail are in the folder next to the icon like New Mail and Drafts. I use to just glance at this folder to see how many were in there now I have to open it up. I just figured this out and don't understand why you would make this change.

If you eliminated posting the number of spam messages for some reason, at least share your
reasonoing with your users (I've been using AOL when it first started). -

Should somebody check on viability of Aol management? Where's the improvement so many of us want with SPAM? We need Aol to alert us to the number of emails it's shoved into SPAM.
Here's my lament.

Why is it that within the past month or whatever Aol has stopped showing the number of emails it's channeled into SPAM? (often inexplicably, stupidly)? -

This has been a problem for over two months now. AOL, everyone wants to know if they have email in their spam folder. Put the number of spam messages back when we log into our email. Good companies don't take away features that are helpful.

I can open the spam folder and see the number of messages shown at the top.

AOL has a "support" e-mail - support@aol.com
Send your comments to that. They still will not respond, but it makes it harder for them to ignore it. -

Might as well give up if you think AOL is going to respond to any complaints we make. I got upset when they took away the ability to click on the headers to sort in the old style email. Have to always switch to the unified type to manage all my emails.AOL mail in general has become irritatingly buggy in various areas.

Is anyone at AOL answering this Spam situation.
No counter ?
Plus now flooding the folder with most fraudulent and filth
When you reply to your salary payers please advise how to BULK block bulk permanent spam senders -

Has there been any response to this from AOL? Mine spam folder count just disappeared a couple months ago but is still very annoying not to be able and just glance at it and know if
I need to clean it out. Why would you take this feature away? Please fix for us. Thank you. -

I also flag everyone of these messages and then delete them. What is going on? This is so frustrating and so awful to allow this to continue. I just read the comments below and now I know why I can't find the amount of spam messages because that is blocked by AOL if I understand this.

i am getting close to two hundred spam messages a day! Along with disgusting spam on my website. I have tried to block but AOL is not allowing to add the names and block this nastiness. It also won't allow me to remove the date on my hold mail website but it keeps updating it on a daily basis.

I'm having the same issue and don't like it at all. Was this purposefully done? Is there going to be a solution?

Agreed! Why did they change this? I liked checking it now and then because it would hold emails I needed that was deemed spam but wasn’t. Any way to correct this?

I have just missed another important email, which was diverted to my spam folder with no indication it was there. What a crazy idea this change is. Why did you do it? I am really angry.
