How can we improve AOL Mail?

I am unable to disable predictive text when writing an email on my desktop. How can I do this to eliminate this annoying feature.

    I have tried everything to shut off predictive text. Nothing works. This comment is using predictive text as I write. It is so annoying. I have looked on the internet and was told to go to Outlook. I do not use Outlook so the internet was no help. Can anyone help. It seems Microsoft did this. They have got to stop!!!
