Email is not delivered to the users Inbox - goes into Junk or Spam folders
When I address email to more than one person, very often it is delivered to their Junk or Spam folders and NOT to their Inbox. So, they never see my email because they don't often check those folders for legitimate messages. Please fix that - it happens all the time.
There are many reasons why your emails might show up in the recipient’s Spam folder. The most common reason is the way the recipient has its spam settings configured. In case he setup his incoming mail filters to allow mail only from certain people, or if he has a content filter to block mail containing specific words or phrases, your emails will be delivered to his Spam folder.
Although there are no settings you can adjust on your account to change the way an email you’ve sent is filtered on another person’s mailbox, there are a few things you can do to prevent your email from being identified as Spam. For example, avoid using lots of exclamation marks or dollar signs (or other special characters) in the message subject.
Also many email providers reject messages based on spam reports or a poor IP address reputation. If you are using a…

Please delete and re-add your account in Incredimail. The incoming and outgoing mail servers require SSL enabled for all ports, and also the username field in the account setup, needs to contain your full email address.
In case your server settings are correct, open the link below (and sign in if necessary), and make sure the option “Allow apps that use less secure sign-in” is turned ON.
login.aol.com/account/security
After this turning ON this option, check if your mail application is able to connect. If the problem persists, verify if the “Two-step verification” option on the Account Security page (the URL above) is turned ON or OFF.
In case this feature is turned ON, you will have to create a unique application-specific password for each one of your email applications, by following the steps from the section titled “How do I set up 2-step verification?” from the following article: help.aol.com/articles/2-step-verification-s.

STOP ADDING '@AOL' ON EVERY EMAIL I TRY TO SEND. IT'S INFURIATING!
When I send an email, AOL tacks on its own address at the end of the recipient's address, and it comes back as spam! Can't AOL clean up this problem?
If you just write the username, the system will recognize the email as belonging to AOL. Please make sure you write the entire email address including the domain in the “To:” field.

do not revert to AOL home page after sending a reply to an email
When I click on an email to read and then reply I may not be done with that emai. If the page went back to my email list that might be manageable but currently there are two extra steps. It reverts back to the tool bar on the left and an advertisement on the right meaning I have to click on new mail to continue reading those or old mail to find the email I replied to if I wasnt done with it
To remain in the email list you have to click on the X button from the top right corner.

I was trying to automate forwarding of email from one AOL account to another AOL. can you look into?
I searched internet for AOL phone number and called 1-888-780-4666.They (AOL) took over my computer and suggested my account has been compromised and wanted $250 to clean it up. All I wanted to do was set up my account to forward all incoming email to my other account. Now I feel like the person answering the call was the one who might have compromised my computer.
The auto forward is not available at the moment.
The phone number that you called is not from AOL. If you think that your email account has been compromised, please change your password. And to fix and prevent this from happening in the future, refer to this article: aol.it/1qY866B
If you need additional assistance please call AOL Customer Support Team at 1-800-827-6364 Monday through Friday between 8AM to 1AM ET, and Saturday between 8AM and 10PM ET.

Reducing width of message to enable print off
When I send an email it is too wide for printing by the recipient, how can I narrow the typing box. This didn't used to happen.
I want to bring the margins in to make the text block narrower. We recommend clicking on the ‘Alignment’ button below the Subject line, and selecting ‘Left Align’, and also decreasing the indent, by clicking on the ‘Indentation’ button.

I send bulk text msgs as e-mails to a large group. It works very well, but texts to t-mobil users don't go through. Why not?
Need to see if there is an issue with e-mails to addressed t-mobil format (********@tmomail.net). They come back with the message "550: permanent failure for one or more recipients (*******@tmomail.net:blocked)".
The error 550 indicates that the recipient has configured their account, possibly inadvertently, to only accept mail from certain addresses and/or domains. The recipient will have to change their mail settings in order to receive mail from you. AOL cannot override these settings.

accented letters
The person I contacted for support at AOL says it is no longer possible to use accented letters in AOL Mail. So if I want to write to some in another country and that language uses accented letters like A with an accent it won't work. This must be an error.
If you are accessing AOL Mail from an external browser such as Chrome or Mozilla, you will be able to go into the browser settings and choose your preferred language as French. You can also make sure the spelling on the browser is set up to be in French. This will allow you to write/ correct the accents when writing emails on mail.aol.com. If you are using the AOL Desktop Gold software, the French spell check is not available yet, however you can use the “learn” function for specific words.

How can I get rid of the "Oath Team" part of my email address that now shows at the beginning of all my sent emails?
I want to have back my original email address without the added "OathTeam" prefix that has been added recently. It just confuses recipients who think I have altered my address - I haven't!
In order to change the Display Name in AOL Mail, please follow these steps:
1. Sign in to mail.aol.com
2. Under your username on the upper right, click ‘Options’ then ‘Mail Settings’.
3. Click the ‘Compose’ tab.
4. Scroll down to the ‘Display Name’ section and change the name from that field (or leave the field empty).
5. Click on ‘Save Settings’ at the bottom of the screen. If you did not set ‘OathTeam’ as your Display Name, please check the article below for information about identifying suspicious account activity, and steps on how to secure your account: https://help.aol.com/articles/account-management-identifying-suspicious-activity
In case the problem is not resolved after following the steps above to change the Display Name, please send us a screenshot, at aolsupporthelp@aol.com of the ‘OathTeam’ name you see in your mailbox, in order to further investigate this. For help with making a screenshot, follow the steps here: https://help.aol.com/articles/how-do-i-take-a-screenshot

Problems With Rejected Mail
The following is causing LOTS of problems:
<***@icloud.com>: *.icloud.com[****] said: ******
Your message from aol.com rejected due to its DMARC policy. Not sure what can be done, but I'm contemplating switching from AOL.
This email was rejected because it failed to pass the DMARC policy. This policy is used by all major email provides in order to prevent the sending of scam and spoofing emails, by rejecting the emails coming from a server not owned by the domain which sends the email. In case you received this message after sending an email from your AOL address, please configure your Outgoing Mail Server using the AOL SMTP settings outlined in the section titled “AOL Mail POP and IMAP settings” from the following help article: https://help.aol.com/articles/how-do-i-use-other-email-applications-to-send-and-receive-my-aol-mail.

Invalid addresses tnt coming back as rejected
Incorrect or invalid e-mail addresses mailed out are not returned as rejected. Why ?
Thank you for reaching out. If a recipient address is misspelled and you did not receive a bounce back message, it is possible that a mailbox exists for that email address, or that the email was accepted and queued by the recipient domain.

Why does AOL change email addresses? I have sent emails to people with me.com and after I send it you have changed it to aol!!!!!!!!!!!
WHY does AOL change email addresses when I send them? Example: me.com when I send an email to people you change it to aol.com!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Please make sure the email addresses are complete, including @DomainExample.com . In case the domain name is not included in the email address, the username will be treated as an AOL account and @aol.com will automatically be added at the end.
