  2. Last week, I didn't need a password to access Amazon, now I need one. Can this nonsense end? d hem

    Please with the passwords, I've spent most of the morning trying to access Amazon and you keep asking me for a password. Everyone I give you say it isn't valid. I owe them money and would like to pay what I owe! How do I do that that?

  3. Two weeks ago I lost the ability to send or receive email on my Android phone & on Outlook on my computer & can't rebuild the profiles. HELP

    I can still use my Verizon.net via the web. Did anything change at AOL? Can you look at my account? Can you help? Thanks!

  5. Eliminate sender's name on emails.

    How can I eliminate my name from an email that I Forward, Reply or Reply All. I just one the email address to be seen alone w/o my name.

    We never slow connection. In most cases when you are experiencing latency it may be due to the browser being used. We do recommend using Chrome or Firefox.

  11. All of my messages from netscape / aim are bounced back as "suspicious" by yahoo. I've had to change my password twice in two days. Why????

    Get with the folks at yahoo.com and figure out why netscape / aim mails I'm sending are being bounced as "suspicious". I've changed my password twice in two days. You're forcing me to use gmail, which I HATE.

  13. How to get my name and email address to always show at the bottom of emails I send

    My name and email used to automatically appear below all emails I sent. They have now disappeared. I would like to know how to get this facility back. There is nothing in settings.

    To create and set a signature in AOL Mail, please go to mail.aol.com from a PC or laptop then follow these steps:

    1. Under your username, click Options | Mail Settings.

    2. Click the “Compose” tab.

    3. Next to “Rich Text/HTML,” select Use signature.

    4. Enter your signature info.

    5. Click Save Settings.

  16. Links not pasting properly

    Links not pasting correctly into new mail: Just found this WONDERFUL bug that may have well torpedoed my contacts. I sent an email to Person A. It had a special link in it for them. I then needed to send a similar email to Person B but with a different link. So I copy the sent email from Person A and paste it into Person B's email. I then copy the link I need to put into Person B's email, select the incorrect link (copied from Person A's) and paste the new link in it's place.

    All looks good

  17. Why can't I add my other 2 accounts here?

    I hope to get some response to this problem i have been having with AOL mail this past year. I originally was an AOL subscriber many years ago and loved the email section mostly. I carried it over to the Thunderbird email clientell. I have always had 3 email accounts. Unfortunately my main account which is the one I am submitting this problem was effected. No matter how many times i had entered the right password i always got error messages, even after changing my password. I then preceded to come here, AOLMAIL.com and entered a new password and so…

  20. Email is not delivered to the users Inbox - goes into Junk or Spam folders

    When I address email to more than one person, very often it is delivered to their Junk or Spam folders and NOT to their Inbox. So, they never see my email because they don't often check those folders for legitimate messages. Please fix that - it happens all the time.

    There are many reasons why your emails might show up in the recipient’s Spam folder. The most common reason is the way the recipient has its spam settings configured. In case he setup his incoming mail filters to allow mail only from certain people, or if he has a content filter to block mail containing specific words or phrases, your emails will be delivered to his Spam folder.

    Although there are no settings you can adjust on your account to change the way an email you’ve sent is filtered on another person’s mailbox, there are a few things you can do to prevent your email from being identified as Spam. For example, avoid using lots of exclamation marks or dollar signs (or other special characters) in the message subject.
