Massive spam I cannot BLOCK
I have SETTINGS on getting email ONLY CONTACTS yet every day I get 100 + emails from a site(s) that has infinite disposable none repetitive FROM addresses. I detest those FILTERS which DO NOT FILTER. PLEASE MAKE THE ACTUAL FROM CONTACTS ONLY DO EXACTLY THAT.
If you’ve started to receive an endless flow of junk email, you may be the victim of spam bombing. This is a tactic used by bad actors and hackers to distract you from seeing emails that really are important to you. This can also be an indication that another login account has been compromised.

*AOL customers are bombed with spam leaking through any filters, this has nothing to do with malewarer
FIX THE PROBLEM
While most spam should be caught by our Spam filters, occasionally some can slip through. If that does happen it's very important to mark the email as Spam. It lets our system learn that messages from a specific place are not good and helps us make AOL Mail even better at recognizing future spam emails. Thank you for your patience and understanding!

Put a limit on spam emails in the spam folder
All my spam goes to my spam folder, does anyone know how many spam emails this folder will hold? I'm at 400 now? I figure once this spam folder is full, the spam emails will stop.
Hi. The Spam and Trash folders are automatically emptied after a certain period of time, the oldest will be deleted first.

Invalid E-mail Cannot be Blocked
I constantly get spam from this e-mail address: noreply@offers.com>
Why can't I put this in my block senders list? If they can send it, then I should be able to block it. Now, you are changing my post. At the end of the e-mail address above, there is .com>
Hi there,
The block feature is mostly used for people. For spam, please create a filter or mark it as Spam. Here's how to create filers: https://help.aol.com/articles/aol-mail-mail-settings

I order from Etsy over a month ago and never received the item which I paid for. Is there any way to report this so others won't be taken?

what are the spam rules?
Why won't AOL tell it's members what constitutes spam? I suddenly got locked out after sending a bunch of e-mails to groups of cousins. I called for help, was forced to sign up for tech support and was told by two AOL employees they are now allowed to tell me how many e-mails sent in what amount of time qualifies as spam nor would they tell me how long after being locked out would my account be reopened.
I had been previously told that after AOL took over from Verizon that I was no longer limited to 100 people per…In order to better enforce anti-spam policies, AOL does not disclose the number of recipients or emails that can be sent at one time.
If you’ve received a notification that a limit has been met, you’ll need to wait a set amount of time before you can send more emails. Most sending limit notifications inform you of how long you’ll have to wait.
If you’re planning to regularly send bulk email, consider looking into alternate solution.

Possible Spam from "Aol Mail"
I received an e-mal from "AOL Mail" stating that you would shut down on April 24th for upgrades and would need to click on a link or lose my access. Is this true or is it a scam?

Way more spam now - why?
Up until about one week ago I got almost no real spam. I frequently found things I wanted to see in the spam folder, which was moderately annoying. Now I'm getting several actual garbage spam messages a day. You flag most of them, but they never got through at all in the past. What did you change? Please change it back.

report malware
Do we have a way of reporting spam/malware to you (and then, hopefully, you do something about it)? For example, I've gotten two messages today, telling me that my email is going to be canclled or whatever, and these messages are apparently coming from other AOL accounts.
Hello there,
If a user is abusing our system to send mail, we're definitely interested. Please mark these emails as spam, it will generate a report that goes to a team focused on such experiences can review and take the appropriate action. For security reasons, they'll be limited in the information they can share back, however, we're dedicated to ensuring our users don't abuse our system.

Unsubscribing from spam mail.
No longer able to "unsubscribe" from spam in the spam folder. Have to mark as "not spam" so it goes into regular mail and "unsubscribe" from there and 1/2 the time that doesn't work. Then I have to mark again as "spam" Please fix.
Hi there,
That’s correct, you never want to unsubscribe from spam when it is already in the spam folder. This can tend to confuse our internal filters and result in legitimate emails going into spam or spam emails going into the inbox.
This action can only be performed in the inbox. If email are going into spam and are spam I would suggest leaving them there to eventually be deleted.

Improve AOL mail by adding a column to the inbox allowing users to block all future mail from the sender's domain IN ONE CLICK
This new column would be a single character wide - very similar to the Flag column or the Trash column:
With a single click, an AOL program can create a line item in the user's Sender Filter (block-mail list). That line item would include the sender's top- and second-level domain (e.g., @spammer.com - with an asterisk before and after the '@'). Users can do this now for themselves under Spam Settings. But AOL can easily automate this tedious work for their billions of users.
Also, this approach would make the new line item accessible to users (in their Spam…
Thank you for the feedback.
We are always looking for ways to improve your mail experience and I will forward this information over to our product team.
