  1. get people on your paid for service that understand 1) english 2) listen 3) know how the technology work

    The answer that is on the 2 step verification is false. I just spent 45 minutes with paid for tech support and with much intense questioning admitted you can not have it turned on with a device that is accessing the AOL server directly and also using 3rd party software on other devices. When you turn on third party apps passcode, it shuts down the two step verification for the device accessing the server through a Browser.   2. Stop signing me out of mail on the iphone app

    There is no option to check to keep you signed in. It used to keep me signed in till a couple weeks ago. Now every time I open the app I have to type in email address and password. I'm able to stay signed in when I access mail on a web browser.

  10. Can you ever support two email clients at the same time?!?!!

    Seems to me that you have something against third party apps. I get my phone up and running and then my computer email client shuts down, I get my computer client up and working and my phone app no longer works. IT IS NOT A PASSWORD PROBLEM! No settings have changed on my phone email client. It's quite obvious your permissions have changed on your end. My aol mail was not working on my computer client for more than two months. Seems to be around the same time I got my app on my phone working again. This is ridiculous!…

  11. Outlook/AOL Mail interface Problems

    The interface between AOL Mail and Outlook is a mess! I spent 4 hours with Geek squad trying to resolve it!! Can't do it. All of my saved folders disappeared from my Outlook account yesterday. Also two new folders that I never added appeared. I hope you can resolve this before I need to go to GMail!

    first for some stupid reason it wouldn't accept my input to setup the email acct. now I cant setup on Android phone. It says the password is wrong on my phone but it works off another device.

    Please check the Incoming mail server settings in your email application, and make sure they match the IMAP/POP settings in the section titled “AOL Mail POP and IMAP settings” from the following help article: https://help.aol.com/articles/how-do-i-use-other-email-applications-to-send-and-receive-my-aol-mail

    The incoming and outgoing mail servers require SSL enabled for all ports, and also the username field in the account setup, needs to contain your full email address, including @aol.com at the end.

    In case your server settings are correct, open the link below (and sign in if necessary), and make sure the option “Allow apps that use less secure sign-in” is turned ON.

    After this turning ON this option, check if your mail application is able to connect. If the problem persists, verify if the “Two-step verification” option on the Account Security page (the URL above) is turned ON or OFF.

  16. Provide a UK customer service telephone number asap!

    I am a UK user (for over 20 years)
    I have several AOL email addresses which work fine, but one of them never logs out correctly and it won't let me cancel any "recent actiivity" either.
    This has been going on for months - since the switch to Oath..
    Every time I try, I just get a red message saying "You have exceeded the maximum number of individual sessions that you can end at this time. To end all sessions except the current one, click on the "Change your password" link above."

    If you are using Firefox, and cookies are set for deletion upon closing Firefox, then that will result in a unclosed session. Once you change your password you will disable all the previous signed in sessions.

  17. Can't cancel "recent activity"

  18. Stop Forcing me to regularly generate new 3rd Party App Passpwords!

    I am TIRED of regularly being required to GENERATE NEW 3rd Party App Passwords. This is ridiculous and I am about to the point of deactivating my AOL account which have have had for decades. I do NOT need to do this with my Yahoo! and GMail accounts - only AOL. Please tell me how to stop this requirement or tell me how to deactivate my account completely.
