Problem(s) with outsourced function
The "Conversation" section at the bottom of news articles continues to be plagued with technical problems. e.g. for months now when trying to review my "activity" after viewing a few entries there is a supposed live link that says "Show 5 more..." or whatever the number of posts for that particular article. It DOESN'T WORK and apparently no one has attempted to fix it. I've been on AOL for 20 years next month and participating in the so called "conversations" for going on two years.
That outsourced function has been a major source of frustration!Clear cookies, cache, history, and footprints in your browser and try again.
Here’s how: https://help.aol.com/articles/clear-cookies-cache-history-and-footprints-in-your-browser
If the issue still persists try another browser.

Please give me someone that I can talk to about my problem - technical assistance.
Starting yesterday, Aol keeps pushing old emails (that I have already read, deleted or filed) to my Outlook at the rate of 9,000 emails for the past year. Why did this start happening? I got rid of 9,000 emails last night and today it keeps trying to reload them! What's up with that?
In most cases this issue is caused by the POP protocol’s “Leave a copy of the message on the server” option. Because POP only downloads mail that is in the Inbox, you can move the mail from the Inbox to another folder in your account online (log into http://mail.aol.com from a desktop computer) before taking the email application online, to avoid getting old emails downloaded again. Also, please re-add your account using the settings from this help article: https://help.aol.com/articles/how-do-i-set-up-other-email-applications-to-send-and-receive-my-verizon-net-mail

Fix stability with Unroll.Me app
I use the unroll me app and for my aol account it constantly unauthorizes my account and I have to keep reauthorizing it and then it still won’t work. I also have a gmail account enrolled in unroll me and it NEVER has an issue. Please fix this so I can continue using your service.
Please delete and re-add the account.
Check the Incoming mail server settings in your email application, and make sure they match the IMAP/POP settings in the section titled “AOL Mail POP and IMAP settings” from the following help article: https://help.aol.com/articles/how-do-i-use-other-email-applications-to-send-and-receive-my-aol-mail
The incoming and outgoing mail servers require SSL enabled for all ports, and also the username field in the account setup needs to contain your full email address, including @aol.com at the end.
In case your server settings are correct, open the link below (and sign in if necessary), and make sure the option “Allow apps that use less secure sign-in” is turned ON.
https://login.aol.com/account/security
After this turning ON this option, check if your mail application is able to connect. If the problem persists, verify if the “Two-step verification” option on the Account Security page (the URL above) is turned ON or OFF.
In case this…

WHAT THE HECK??? Fix the 100 max recipient issue!!
I've managed a large project for many years with a distribution of 500+, and yesterday I began getting "too many recipients" failure messages! Just called your tech help, and the rep VERY apologetically explained about your migration to Yahoo, and the recipient limits imposed during this process. This makes frequent and necessary communication on large projects virtually impossible!
Unfortunately, what you’re looking for is no longer offered in the current version of AOL Mail. If you’ve received a notification that a limit of the number of sent emails was reached or you’ve sent to too many contacts, you’ll need to wait before you can send more emails.
Because of our antispam policies, we do not disclose the specific limits on the number of emails you can send or the number of contacts you can email at once. Nor do we disclose the waiting period before you can continue sending emails. I apologize for the inconvenience.

On the weather you report it in Cenigrade, I believe we use Fahrenheit. Why are you so stupid?
On the weather you report it in Cenigrade, I believe we use Fahrenheit. Why are you so stupid? Never in my life have I seen such an incompetent bunch of idiots as you at AOL. Since Oath took over too much has gone downhill. It is only getting worse, not better.
AOL should be paying us and not the other way around. Please access weather report on aol.com and under the search bar, you should have two option: F and C. Select F which is from Fahrenheit.

Stop requesting aol users approve Oath's request for us to relinquish our privacy
This is the second time I have made this request. My request was not even acknowledged the last time. Every time I sign on to AOL, I must agree to Oath's terms with regard to privacy or agree to deal with it later. I do not wish to do either and have been up until now clicking on "Deal with it later." I have talked to AOL techs about this and in spite of the fact that they are sympathetic to my issue they tell me that unfortunately if I don't want it, the only thing I can do is…
