Again... Show me an organization that doesn't have any "hands in the cookie jar"... And I'll show you a very rare organization, union or otherwise! And while I'll disagree with your choice of words... It is the NLRB's JOB to "bend over backwards" in support of cooperation between workers AND employers... Just as Congress has tasked and authorized them to do! Although I don't have the stats at hand to provide as evidence... If I did, they would show that unionized workers' wages are something like 13% higher than their non-union counterparts. That same figure applies to the difference between non-"right-to-work" states, and neighboring states that have the mis-appropriately named "right-to-work" laws! Consequently, the communities that have a higher density of unionized workers benefit generally in a number of ways, with a higher tax base, more successful and profitable businesses, better infrastructure, etc, etc...! Ultimately, if it were me deciding... I'd prefer to not have to have unions! Unfortunately, we don't live in that world... and therefore... I believe unions are often an absolute necessity!
