Accidently clicked on one of the ads you now include as part of our list of emails in the inbox. Sender was shown as "Hobart" something. Descriptor was something for seniors. When accidently clicked the box on left, screen filled with security messages from Microsoft. Was able to shut it down by forcing turn-off. Research showed that this was a scam - of course, I hadn't interacted with anything - but PLEASE VERIFY that the ads you force into our mailboxes are valid ads.

Stop moving ads around it makes it hard to delete and read real email

The ads that appear in my e-mail listing translate as virus or spam. AOL is allowing a virus to infect our systems.

I signed up for AOL Pro and supposed take away ADS but does not. All emails that comes to your site should be allowed to block them!!!!! I get emails from sites that I do not want and should be able to click on it move it to sSPAM or delete it. But it will not let me do this!!!! Infuriating.

I'm really angry at the way ads seem to be targeted to me according to my age, sex, or what I've recently bought. Please do not provide my private information to other companies or search for such information from them. I can't see any way of opting out of this on the website, please take this as an order to stop sharing or receiving such information.

The ad panel on the right of my AOL email access page just displayed a parent holding a baby at his shoulder. The ad was weird. STOP

Banner ads in my emails are invasive. They are distracting and annoying. How do I remove them?

Stop letting people put ads in my feed that I can’t delete. This is such na breech of privacy and sets a horrible precedent.

The disappearing banner ads were annoying enough, but now interspersed in my emails randomly?? That's over the top. Been with aol email since dial-up. So tell me you want me to opt out using your service without telling me you want me to opt out.

I hate the ads and I will intentionally avoid any shop or political group that does that.

I came here to say this exact thing. If you want to push people to other providers you're doing a good job. These ads are the most annoying thing, especially when it's for something I'm not a fan of. Just because I browsed something, doesn't mean I want it constantly shoved in my face.

I agree with this statement. Stop the ads between emails. You are making me seriously consider changing services.

Give us a way to block these infernal ADs...especially the Fisher Investment Ads. The guy has a checkered past...

I don't mind ads in general, but these new pop up ads that appear in the middle of my In Box are REALLY annoying. I rely on my email to keep track of a lot of things and I don't need this distraction.

I agree completely with Lorraine-STOP putting ads BETWEEN emails. I will also switch to another provider if you do not eliminate this immediately

Why are we getting ads on our AOL email when we actually PAY for the account AND we have been paying for AOL for over 20 years, these ads are an annoyance and unwanted. We could get any other email service for free if we wanted ads. Please correct this or we will be cancelling our account.
