Stop adding ads between emails in inbox

The ads at the top of the inbox emails are enough - please remove the ads that are inserted in BETWEEN emails. These ads can't be removed and they get in the way of everything. They bump the emails around the ad, are distracting, are irrelevant, and so annoying that I am considering switching from AOL to another email provider.

    Get rid of the in-line ads, the ones that show up between messages in my inbox and other folders. That kind of in-line ad is a TRICK to get us to click on them inadvertently. I think it is BAD! I use the free AOL e-mail, thank you--but trying to trick your customers--free or paying--is bad customer service.

    Your site has ads everywhere and I hardly call the "newsfeed" news any longer; who cares who had a wardrobe malfunction? Flash: Fox is not news. Your allowing ads into my inbox is nothing more than an invasion of my privacy and it seems to do no good to add these "businesses" to my spam filter. Maybe someone in a government agency would be interested in intervening?

    REMOVE ALL ADS from my email inbox! I accidentally clicked on the first entry in my NEW email inbox. It was a Yahoo ad which immediately went to a Microsoft Scam Ad that took over my computer. It does not allow the user to take any action. I had to get Geek Squad to unlock and remove/repair damages done by this SCAM AD that AOL places in my mailbox. These ads are placed by AOL in my Inbox. PLEASE REMOVE ALL ADS IN MY EMAIL INBOX!!!!

    Hi, it's annoying but I can understand your new practice of placing ads inside email feeds instead of at the top of the page. But for you to now have accepted an ad with a spam-like subject line crosses into unacceptable. This morning I found an ad in between emails with the subject line "A profile view linked to your account was recorded today." The sender showed only as "3 New Messages." I had assumed AOL has standards regarding what ads you will accept; this suggests otherwise. Please clean up your act.

    The advertisement are now also showing in the middle of the emails that bothers the members when viewing their mailes. Please make actions to this ASAP.

    WE ALREADY HAVE ONE LINE AT THE TOP OF OUR INBOX WITH AN AD. I CAN IGNORE THAT.
    THEN WE HAVE THE ADS ON THE RIGHT. I CAN SLIDE THOSE OVER.
    I KNOW YOU NEED TO MAKE MONEY EVERYWHERE, BUT PLEASE, PLEASE PLEASE
    REMOVE THE NEW ADS THAT ARE NOW IMBEDDED INTO OUR REGULAR EMAILS ON BOTH THE COMPUTER AND THE APP ON MY PHONE.
    WE CANNOT MOVE OR REMOVE THEM. THEY JUST STAY THERE!

    You are forcing me to stop this email service with the ad in the middle of my emails....over the top!!! I should have done it many years ago when you started charging for your service. Change is a challenge for me but your GREED makes it easier.
    And.., why does the sound on an ad turn on even when the microphone icon is off. In the middle of a meeting it sounds!!!!!!!! NOT OKAY!!!

    Put 10 ads at the top and I am fine. The one ad in the middle of the inbox triggers me to no end. It will drive me to leave this email address that I have been using for over 30 years....

    AOL's advertisements on the right, covers and hides that part of my emails, making them impossible to read. So, the suggestion is to Stop covering that part of my emails with advertising. Duh, Brilliant, eh!

    I agree with everyone protesting the insertion of ads in the middle of our emails. The Customer Service Rep's solution was to pay (on top of my monthly fee) to have no ads. So let me get this straight.....AOL gets a fee when they accept the ads from vendors AND they get a fee from subscribers to not post the ads.....right. Does "double dipping" sound familiar?? And as was pointed out by others, you can't get rid of them. Do they have a "shelf life" of forever???

    i aready pay for aol platform...if you continue putting undeletable ads in my email section i will cancel my aol email address and stop using the aol platform...you have already added advertising all over the platform which i never look at anyway si it is a waste of your advertisers money...and soon it will be a waste for aol tooooo! please at least stop putting advertisement in my EMAIL section
