MY AOL ACCOUNT HAS BEEN HACKED. MY WIFE’S AOL ACCOUNT HAS BEEN CLOSED WITHOUT OUR REQUEST
I cannot log in to my account. When I try, the response I get is that my account does not exist anymore and cannot be retrieved. Same with my wife's account.
This circumstance could cause us very serious problems because we have sensitive financial information within our account emails and Favorite Places. Through this information the hacker can destroy me and my family financially and ruin our reputations. We tried twice to report the issue to your Help Desk and were disconnected. Considering the 30 years I have been with AOL I don’t understand why we never heard back from someone. No AOL follow up. We called a third time and were finally given direction to report on this page.
We are not interested in AOL bashing as some other posts do.
The purpose of this notice is to inform AOL of our circumstance and to ensure that we are not liable for any account activity with both accounts since the week commencing April 20, 2020. We are in the process of closing our other AOL user ID's and are moving to another service.
