While your support team tried very hard to help and were VERY patient and understanding. They could not return me to the OLD STYLE. I too am missing all the the things the others have pointed out.
I also run a sports blog amoung a huge number of from my AOL name.Im PLEADING with you to return at least those of us who are not happy.
I/m sure if you were able to switch that COMPOSE page in particular from out of my screen you can easily return the old page back.
By the way....have you gotten any " we love the new format" ? -

The new format is terrible. The font is too small and it isn't nearly as easy to use. Why did you change it?

An un-necessary change IMO, as the old style is retained on Win10 PC's and Android Phone! Simple Qiestion - why?

I can only call up my groups under a few of my group contact lists under contacts. In the old system when I use compose and type in the start of the person/ e mail address I want to contact, I would get what I was looking for or several options to select. Can't get that now. I'm sorry, but the changes are difficult to navigate or just don't work at all! Attachment to e mails are cumbersome and increase the time to load them on to the e mail and then again to send them. You are wasting our time needlessly. May have to go somewhere else.... Russ

new format/appearance/functionality of AOL is TERRIBLE. The AOL format changed with my WindowsXP system computer; but the format did not change with my Windows10 system computer.
The new format only shows 3 news articles with no way to advance them. The functionality of email is terrible.
Are you intentionally wanting people to drop/unsubscribe to AOL? -

Do not like the new format for AOL Mail. It is very confusing, especially when attaching files, which I do all the time. Would like you to bring back the old version

I hate your new format. It should go directly to the next email. Instead of going back to list.old email is mixed with inbox. very confusing.

The new version is a disaster. Old email addresses are not picked up when you want to send a new email to them, all the font and format options have gone, and new emails don't appear unless you click top left. DREADFUL!!!!!

Request AOL go back to a usable format. Your updated version is frustrating and unfriendly to use. No Beta was used or suggested. AOL just changed without testing and allowing comments. Go back to your previous format. Updates are Non useable , as it is missing many features. With out testing and updating with inputs is a failure of AOL research and development department.

This new version seems to be an attempt for AOL to reduce costs by drastically reducing the amount of work that AOL servers have to do to process mail. The fewer features, the more costs you save, and the user be damned.
I have been using AOL since it virtually started, and I stayed with it as my main mail system because the user interface was so much better than Gmail's. No more. Unless the old version comes back, I'm outta here.

The new version is much harder to use than the old one. What used to take three clicks (i.e. moving mail into a new folder) now takes four or five. The menu bar does not scroll, so if the mail you want to apply an action to is below where the scroll bar is, you have to select the mail object, then scroll back up to where the menu bar is, select the action and then hit apply. The old version was much easier to use.
The "Compose" has gone from adequate to horrible. There is no formatting allowed; no bold, no underline, no change of font sizes, and there doesn't seem to be any way to change any of these in the "Settings" section.
The lack of an "Old Mail" folder really screws up your inbox. Also, there is no sort on any of the columns, so you have to once again go to a menu to sort them. You can't see only new mail; you can't sort on multiple criteria.
I see why you didn't offer users the option to switch back to the old version, and I can see why. I doubt there are more than a handful of users who would opt for the new version were the old version still available.
