The new format is utter garbage and the "old format" that you can select bears no resemblance to the system prior to AOL cramming their poorly designed and programmed "New" email. Restore the true old system! Stop penalizing your users because you have an incompetent IT department. Bring back a restoration of the true old system!

This new system is hard to use. I prefer the old platform. I prefer to scroll down to view older mail.

Put back the basic options for writing emails or a letter. B, U, FONT, Center alignment, left alignment, etc., Spell Check, Color, being able to insert a file or picture into an email, Emojis, Themes. All of these things are a must when writing emails or a letter!! Who possessed someone to take all that off? OMG! Everything was perfect until someone changed it and now it is horrible! I used to be able to move the left column over some because my folders have long names and now I can't see them. The "Old" Basic version had so many wonderful options and now they are all gone! I have been with AOL since 1999 and have always been happy with it. I have used no other since the beginning because it was perfect for me. I enjoyed using AOL because it had everything I needed to write, format, or insert something into a email. Frankly, I am shocked to see all of those options gone! Please put all the necessities back.

Trying to write an e-mail to my 75-year-old cousin. I'm sure he's going to be able to read that font size 6 that's made for legal documents and 5-year-olds to read. IT IS NOT HARD TO FIX THIS. WHY DON'T YOU??? And put back our emojis. How ridiculous your stupid new format is.

The excuse you have given your users that you are trying to make this more efficient is BS. Apply or go to do anything. Then it goes back to old format. Can't tab up and down on my e-mails because more often than not the arrows are not there or working. GO BACK TO THE OLD FORMAT!!! THIS ONE SUCKS!!!

What are you thinking? Does AOL not see how many people HATE the new email format? Whoever thought this up should be FIRED!!! Come on, listen to your users and put the old email format back. You will make a lot of people happy

1. Do no change formats without advising customers FIRST. 2. I should be allowed to clean out my email box, NOT YOU. You have no way of knowing what i need to keep so you should not mess with them!!

f I wanted a G-mail lookalike, I'd be using G-mail. There was no need to change the original mail, except to keep your developers employed and to put in ads. And don't act like you care about your user's thoughts and feedback and user ease. You didn't care when you got rid of the old AOL boards and you certainly don't care now. As for the ads at the top, imagine my surprise to find a picture of girl bosoms advertising a matchmaking site. Kids will love it.

The "New" AOL Mail user interface is awful. Functionality was lost in favor of graphic design. Worse, the code is still buggy. AOL Mail is *STILL* causing Firefox to crash. These issues need to be worked out by testing BEFORE release, not just waiting for complaints.

I used to be able to delete several e-mails at a time with the shift or ctrl keys, why doesn't that work anymore? This new version takes longer and is ****, please give us the options for the old version.
The page at a time feature is also a time waster, I like the scroll method. Seems as if AOL is trying to loose more customers than gain new ones. -
