email starts in Sent folder instead of Inbox
Recently, when I go to access my mail, the app starts in the Sent folder and not the Inbox. I haven't changed anything recently. Is there a setting where you can select the default start up folder? Thank you.

Allow an email attachment to be opened without downloading it
In previous versions, one could open an attachment without having to download and save it. Please return that feature. If one wants to download and save an attachment, that should be a choice, not a default.

Suddenly lot receiving email from my family! What happened? Also can't send mail from my phone to myself.
Please fix the mail to that I can get messages from my family again. Political mail comes through fine. I don't understand!

Slow
Everything in my mail comes up so slow! I have had AOL since I began emailing, maybe 20+ years ago? It has been so slow this past year or so. I wait 4-5 seconds for a mail to come up & then when want to put it into a file- again 4-5 seconds. So much time wasted. My ISP said that I should ask you to update the version. I have no clue. Since Mon 11/17, not receiving emails from some senders. Don't know all of them. The Athletic, gmail, optonline are a few. I have been told to have senders fill out senders.yahooinc.com. This seems unrealistic since how do I contact their IT department? I don't even know all the senders that have been affected. This was fine until Mon 11/17 when several legit emails showed up in spam. I marked them as not spam. I see that you have put the check mark in the 'stay signed in' box on the account sign in page again. I do not want to stay signed in and I find it more than a little disturbing that you want to try to trick me into it. I take my online security seriously and would expect you to do the same. Why would you want me to stay signed in anyway? What's in it for you?

In the Android app, format the email print so that it has borders.
Printing emails from the Android app does not have borders. The app needs to be improved to format the print by adding borders.

WHY did you delete my old emails? I put certain ones in Saved folder because they were special & I didn't want to lose them.
My account has never been dormant, not once in all the years I've been a customer. Yet today I needed an old email I'd put in the Saved folder only to find it and several others with the same contact had disappeared! These were very special, very sentimental emails and now that contact is deceased and apparently so are my conversations with him. WHY would you do that to an active account? And why wasn't I warned if you had some time restrictions or something so I could have saved them to an exterior hard drive??

Get rid of the ad at the top of new emails!
Is there some way to permanently remove the ad that looks like a new email? I have an ad-blocker on my browser (Safari) but this dreaded thing keeps showing.

AOL Mail is difficult to access with MS Edge and blocks multiple attempts.
Eliminate the hurdles imposed to sign on to AOL Mail in MS Edge.
