I've been a AOL email customer since the early '90's. Earlier this year, Outlook stopped synching with AOL. Since then, in spare time, i have tried to fix this problem - deleting the account on Outlook, reinstalling, searching online for solutions through Microsoft, etc.
But running webmail next to Outlook was only a short term solution. having one's email account separate from Outlook's calendar and contacts makes simple things difficult (accepting a meeting invitation, putting it on your calendar? receiving a contact file? One stop email search?
Since there is no solution forthcoming, I will have to choose. Outlook's ubiquity and superior ease of use makes the choice Outlook.
If this is an attempt to eliminate long term customers who still use AOL for personal mail, YOU ARE SUCCEEDING!
