Due to recent adjustments to the AOL Mail platform, the Spam Settings customization, are no longer available for all accounts. We apologize for the inconvenience. In order to block a specific sender, go to Options – Mail Settings – Spam Settings and add the email addresses in the box below “Block Mail from Addresses I Specify”, then click Save Settings at the bottom, and in case you receive unwanted emails in the Inbox, mark them as Spam.

I AM DONE!! Finally finished transferring all of my mail to a new account. FU AOL & you can tell your spam affiliates that they have one less user to spam because I'M OUTTA HERE!!!

After a month, I am 50% done transferring my files and things to my new gmail account. It's a lot of work, but necessary. I'm dragging because I have a lot to do, but every time I see 40 to 50 new spam in my emails, I use that as an incentive to carry on. I can't wait until I can select DELETE ACCOUNT! & say FU AOL.

People keep complaining about having to individually block all of the spam they receive. Well, I wish doing that was an option because I have blocked so many F'in "InstaGirl *** Sh*t yet they keep coming. AOL, Verizon or whoever is running this sorry excuse for a ISP ought to be ashamed. They are literally getting paid to allow spammers to bombard people with vulgar, obscene emails. SMDH PATHETIC!!!

UNBELIEVABLE!!! AOL has literally left their users with NO FILTERS!!! I purposely blocked 3 people and asked them to email me to see if they actually work and not only did it get thru, but it went to my primary box. Didn't even go to spam. AOL is so pitiful. To go from having the best filters to none at all is ridiculous. I wouldn't even mind if I had to block individual spam, but that doesn't even worth. SMH

AOL IS SO PATHETIC. I NO LONGER PAY. TRANSFERRED MY SERIOUS EMAIL CONTACTS TO ANOTHER PROFESSIONAL ACCOUNT AND ONLY KEEPING THIS AS A FREE ONE FOR STUFF I've STORED UNTIL I FIGURE OUT WHAT TO DO. AOL SUCKS!!!

It's obvious that AOL is now working for spammers. I unsubscribe and I still get it. I block the IP address, yet it still comes through. AOL has literally taken away ALL FILTERS. SMH Pathetic! I'm slowly transferring all of my business that my email used for and changing over to a legitimate email provider.

Apparently AOL has made a deal with the spammers. Been complaining since July and NOTHING!! And don't bother blocking individual addresses because they still come through. Aneranews, KETO, et cetera. They still come through so AOL is literally FILTER FREE. No way to stop the spam. SMH

I like the way you tell people, "In order to block a specific sender, go to Options – Mail Settings – Spam Settings and add the email addresses in the box below “Block Mail from Addresses I Specify”, then click Save Settings at the bottom"
You are aware that if this actually worked, you wouldn't have all the complaints, right? YOU HAVE NO SPAM FILTERS, PERIOD!!!!! What a bunch of IDIOTS!!!

    pat commented  ·

So AOL, I guess you just collect complaints and do NOTHING, right? Because these complaints date back as far as JULY!!! I can't believe you're still in business. SMH

People are complaining about NOT wanting to have to block each individual email due to it being time consuming. Here's something else for you to think about. I wish we had the option to block each spam individually because it's better than having NOTHING. Because you know what? I've, one by one, got so fed up with these dam spammers that I started to block spam one by one, ONLY TO HAVE THEM STILL COME THROUGH. That's right! AOL has taken away ALL SPAM FILTERS so now spammers are free to spam you through the roof and I'm beginning to think the new AOL has a deal with them for money or something. Nothing else makes sense! AOL SUCKS!!!

    pat commented  ·

So I sent it to aolmailquestions@aol.com and it came back to me. SMH It's gonna take a lot of work and be irritating, but it's time to start transferring my **** to another ISP. AOL is RIDICULOUS!!!!!

Well it's been about 3 months since people started complaining about your removal of the spam choices & there were 21 comments which now there are 255 so it's clear your pathetic company has NO INTENTIONS of fixing this problem so C'YA LOSERS!!! SMH

    pat commented  ·

It's obvious AOL doesn't give a Cr@p about customers. There is NO SPAM FILTER NOW!!! I keep getting a dozen emails from Aneranews.com daily and I have blocked it 2 different ways and it still comes through. How can you take away filters? SMH Pathetic. Ok though. I'm slowly transferring to a new email account. Thanks for the memories, IDIOTS!!!
