VZ clearly wants us all to move on ... the loyal AOL customers who had great mail/spam service and your own customers. What we have now is JUNK. PS, I entered my AOL email address. This was not an Anonymous post.
Due to recent adjustments to the AOL Mail platform, the Spam Settings customization, are no longer available for all accounts. We apologize for the inconvenience. In order to block a specific sender, go to Options – Mail Settings – Spam Settings and add the email addresses in the box below “Block Mail from Addresses I Specify”, then click Save Settings at the bottom, and in case you receive unwanted emails in the Inbox, mark them as Spam.
The SPAM that should never get as far as to our spam folders is outrageous. In 25 years, it has never been this bad. I'm removing 80-90 every couple of days. Weedkiller, insurance, pills, ***, all junk mail. The mail service is down several times a week- can't send, can't access mail.The contacts were missing a few days ago. I'm receiving emails with a time stamp of 2:30 p.m., the following morning! It was an important message. I guess you are driving us away. And I AM PAYING YOU EVERY MONTH.
There is no possible way to add each email address in order to stop or slow down the spam. Robocalls all day long and Spam Emails the rest of the time. I think we've fallen into the rabbit hole.
In the last FIVE days, I have received 49 junk emails in my spam folder. Only one was not spam. They could all be written by the same person, someone who has no idea how to write in English. They take an interpreter to read the subject line. What on earth is going on. I used to really like AOL and it was so good about keep the spam to a minimum, but the junk that is flooding my spam folder now is ridiculous. There must be something you can do about this mess.
