Due to recent adjustments to the AOL Mail platform, the Spam Settings customization, are no longer available for all accounts. We apologize for the inconvenience. In order to block a specific sender, go to Options – Mail Settings – Spam Settings and add the email addresses in the box below “Block Mail from Addresses I Specify”, then click Save Settings at the bottom, and in case you receive unwanted emails in the Inbox, mark them as Spam.

My other e-mail @sbcglobal.net, has a feature where you can highlight ALL the spam e-mails IN THE SPAM folder, then right click; and it gives the option to 'block all senders'. Very easy and quick, instead of your way. Spammers that change their names are still a nuisance, but it helps get rid of them QUICKLY without a bunch of doing it one at a time, like your method. Could your IT genius's look into something like this? Copy, Go to mail settings, Paste, for each e-mail is asinine.

Your instructions say: "Disabling links and images from unknown senders can protect you from accidentally downloading a virus or malware with reading your emails.

    1. Under your Username, click Options | Mail Settings.
    2. Click the "General" tab, if not already there.
    3. In the "Reading" section, select the following:

    • Hide images in mail from unknown senders.

    • Disable links in mail from unknown senders."
However the 'disable links' choice is non-existent. It's just not there!

PLEASE make a button next to the delete or spam buttons to BLOCK senders in one easy step. Having to go through the process you have now is frustrating and a waste of my time.

Every time my wife (tobesueb) or I sign out of AOL. it doesn't sign out. It goes to this URL: https://membernotifications.aol.com/notice/_offer/SystemMechanic_Rainbow?ncid=mbr_rusacqdsp00000065
Next time we go to sign in we get a message that we didn't sign out; but our account was stopped due to inactivity, and we have to sign in a second time. This aggravation happens EVERY TIME!
