Mary Ann and others. Go to Twitter and tweet at @AOLMAIL about this issue EVERY DAY, exactly how you described it "newsletter@_.US" and other bad top level domains and DEMAND that they give users the ability to block WILDCARD (use an asterisk to designate any possible letter/number combination) addresses or block non dot com, dot net, dot org, dot gov top level domains alltogether (or ask that they do that themselves). Inundating them on Twitter is literally the only way that they're going to pay any attention to this matter.

AOL needs to BLOCK ALL TOP LEVEL DOMAINS that are not dot com, dot net, dot org. AOL users are getting SLAMMED with thousands and thousands of emails from the dot US, dot UK and other commonly exploited top level domains. It would help all AOL users and ease the strain on AOL's services. Everyone should put AOL MAIL TEAM on blast on Twitter. They seem to be the only way to communicate with AOL MAIL employees directly or with any type of response.
