One really can't block a person (that's the problem as most here would be happy if AOL would allow you to accept people in your address book only). You can block an email address (up to 1,000) and put in filters (e.g. subject contains, from contains, etc.) but those are limited to 50. To block an email address one would go to options in the upper right, then to spam settings, specify the email address, hit the plus sign to add it and then the save settings. If one wants to create a filter then go to options, then filter settings, and then create the filter. I already have the maximum number of filters and blocked email addresses and that's why I've rotated my personal contacts to another provider. In the last 30 days (spam drops off after that), I now have over 900 spam emails and the number just grows. Blocking an email address will just likely result in spammers using another. That's why the only choice is to move everything to another provider.
