Try switching to the Standard Version of AOL Mail, by following the steps below, and check if the pictures load in the body of the email.

2. Under your username click Options.
3. Click Standard Version.
In case the problem persists, follow the steps below, to make sure the pictures are not hidden:
1. Click Option on the top right.
2. Select Mail Settings.
3. Uncheck ‘Hide images in mail from unknown senders’
4. Click Save Settings.
Running Windows 10. Can't find settings icon. Need to add another email account.
If you are using AOL web-mail (mail.aol.com) you will need to sign out of an account, from the top right corner of the page, then sign back in using another account. Unfortunately AOL web-mail does not have a switch account feature.
In case you are using an email client on your Windows 10 (e.g. Windows Mail, Outlook, Thunderbird), please follow the steps from the section titled ‘Instructions for common email apps’ from the article below, in order to add another account.
Get rid of military time or at least allow me to choose and change back to standard time. I don't want military time.
To remove the military time from AOL Mail, please go to mail.aol.com instead of mail.aol.co.uk to sign in.
Unauthorized users and devices visible at the time of changed password, highlighted copied or transferred data, email, ectd
When I change my password, it requires me to authorize IOS and Mac, I do not own a mac, I have family members that do and I am getting a divorce, I don't want them into my info. Also, If an item is copied or sent to a file, some type of symbol should pop-up or color change should indicated. When you change your password, every device or IP that has had access should pop up and the only the devices the aol member want to have access to the account should be authorized (check box) This would also let the aol mail user that there has been unauthorized access to their account. This would be another layer of security.

Once you change the password, you revoke access to any email applications connected to your account. Additionally, if there are any active logged in sessions, you can terminate them by going to the address below (sign in if necessary), and clicking ‘sign out’ next to each one:
I am going on vacation next month and will not have internet access and don't want to come to 5000 (mostly spam) emails....how do I block ALL incoming emails???
On AOL mail there is no temporary block that you can set up. You can either create filters to direct your emails to a specific folder (here’s how: https://help.aol.com/articles/aol-mail-mail-settings ) or you can cancel the account and reactivate it at a later date.
Trying to change an email address for a contact...since this morning...says server is down,

We recommend using the ‘Standard’ version of AOL Mail. To switch to it, simply click the ‘Options’ menu located in the top right corner of the screen, then click ‘Standard Version’.
In order to keep the read and unread emails in the same folder, please switch to unified version. To do that, please check this article: https://help.aol.com/articles/how-do-i-switch-to-the-unified-inbox-view
Do not put notes on what is in my Facebook account into my aol. mail!!!!
Please check your Facebook settings and make sure you unsubscribe from receiving updates via email.
How do I login without the AOL front page? I want to go directly to my mail. I'll look at it later if I have time
In order to login directly to your mailbox, please make sure to access from https://mail.aol.com/
I use an e-mail client and I want to choose which folders show up in the side bar. It takes up to much room to have folders I don't use, but I can't get rid of folders like 'Archive' and 'Bulk Mail'.
GMail has this feature and it is good - your 'Manage Folders' is relatively useless
While we do our best to provide the most relevant information and solutions to our members, we can only provide assistance for AOL or one of our other products or services.
We recommend that you contact the email client support for assistance.
I also did the 2 Step Verification. Sure enough, I had problems getting my emails to synch on 3 devices: my iPhone, my NOOK and my MacBook Pro!
1 Possible Solution: Please have AOL Programmers include a STATEMENT in the 2 Step Verification directions ----that 2 Step Verification should NOT be used for anyone with more than 1 device, please!
Innocently, people know about 2 Step Verification for many other applications, browsers, etc ...and they and I believed we were ADDING SAFETY via AOL's 2 Step Verification! We are mainly people with 2-3 devices. TY!
You can use the 2 Step Verification with multiple devices, but you will have to create an application password for each one. In order to create an application password, please follow the steps here: https://help.aol.com/articles/Create-and-manage-app-password

You can always access AOL Mail by typing mail.aol.com in any browser, on mobile or laptop/personal computer.

I try to save a contact in emails or change something in a contact and I get "A server error occurred while saving your contact Please try again later." I cannot save. What is going on with AOL?
Hi there, in order to avoid this error message, please do not use dashes (-) in any of the contact information fields. Thank you.
You continue to waste my time by telling me there are spelling errors when I try to send an e-mail...please stop it .
AOL continues to waste my time telling me of spelling errors whan I try to send e-mail requiring another step by me. My name is correct. You treat it as a spelling error. COI is abbreviation for Certificate of Insurance. ANI is abbreviation of Additional Named Insured. They are not spelling errors .
STOP IT ! Please
Before sending the email, click on review errors, click on the correct words that are highlighted and then click on Ignore this Word.
When I put a the first character of a person's email into the address line I get all the emails the person is associated with. I have gone into the "edit contact" many, many times to put the primary email of my contacts FIRST. I save and usually save several times to be sure but it keeps putting the 1st or primary email of my contact SECOND. Why won't it save!? I do not get an error, it says it was "saved", it just keeps changing it back!
For each contact you can add up to 3 email addresses, using the ScreenName, Email 1 and Email 2 fields. The ScreenName field will always be the primary address, but if the field is left empty the ‘Email 1’ will become the primary email address.
It has become very complicated, and the reason I have stayed with AOL for so many years is because it was always simple. I want to find how
where is the page that I can customize my name, my print, etc. Can't find it anywhere
You can change your display name by going to Options—>Mail Settings—>Compose—>Display Name section. The print settings are on the same tab, Compose, which is “Rich Text / HTML”.
Why is a contact name limited to only one group?
You can add the same contact in multiple groups. Please, clear cache and cookies from your browser: https://help.aol.com/articles/clear-cookies-cache-history-and-footprints-in-your-browser. If you have the same issue after that please, try another browser.
normally when you put your cursor over the email a garbage shows up so you can delete without opening and now that's gone.
now have to delete from the email after it's opened.
