    I can't get into my mail setting to stop my out of office message. So now people still think I'm out of office. How do we get that fixed?

  2. Deliver what you promise in your product offering.

    I pay 4.99 per month for no advertising on the welcome page.
    What's the box (25% of the 4 boxes) that appears with an Ad in it as I toggle to Today on AOL? And why is it showing an AD for a hotel I just checked out of last weekend? Get rid of that **** or I'll get rid of you.

  5. i did but it all just dissapeared, just like my composed letters, it all stinks, go back to what works

    hate each time you change the format which is often. the most recent is horrible, can;t forward emails, jumping all over the place. hard to get a contact to send forward. the whole change is deplorable, why change something that actually worked.....really fed up with the time it takes to get to a contact etc. hate it all where are all the emojis now?

  6. "Sorry, we don't recognize this email." message when trying to log in.

    SHOCKED TO GET MESSAGE "Sorry, we don't recognize this email."
    WHILE LOGGING IN. Secondly, the emails sent by me from my following account has NOT BEEN DELIVERED. I request a reason for the same.

    NOW MOST IMPORTANT !!!

    FROM MY USER ID "**@AOL.COM" . I sent email from this VERY ACCOUNT TODAY, 3rd Sept. 2021. But now it says:
    "Sorry, we don't recognize this email." When I am trying to log in. Feels frustrated and breach of trust. PLEASE RESTORE THIS ACCOUNT IMMEDIATELY !

    There are many reasons an account may be deactivated. Among them would be inactivity, a violation of our terms of service, a request by the account owner or etc. While we are limited in the information we can share in Social channels, in most such cases, a new account would need to be created.   8. Editing my privacy settings

    Editing my privacy settings is required to display certain content in new stories on my android mobile.
    When I edit my settings the changes cannot be saved. :-(

    When you see incorrect local information (such as the news or weather for a different location) on your Welcome Screen, you may want to verify your location is correct. This can be done by making sure your correct City, State is in the top left of your Welcome Screen.

    If it is not, please click “Update Your Location” under Local News and Weather, enter your Zip Code and press Save.

    If this does not work, please clear your cache, cookies, and history.

    Then try adding in your Zip Code again.

  12. THE WORST UX AND UI OF ANYTHING

    I have been helping my older mother with her email to manage accounts she has signed up with. The only reason it is through AOL is because it is a Verizon email that she has had for years. I use Gmail.

    I feel myself getting frustrated within a few seconds of using her AOL account. It is unbelievable how bad the user experience and interface are. Nothing is in a logical place. Spam just piles in. I had to search how to block email addresses. Why do I need to be bombarded with news and advertisement carousels before I can…

    You can check this article to see how to manage spam: https://help.aol.com/articles/aol-mail-spam-and-privacy

    You can easily disable the ‘Today on AOL’ news feed by following the steps below:

    - Click the ‘Options’ menu located in the top right corner of the screen
    - Select ‘Mail Settings’
    - In the ‘General’ tab, un-check the ‘Show me Today on AOL when signing in’ feature

    This will allow you to go directly to your Inbox when signing in to your email account.

  13. AOL tends to reject e-mail every now and then

  14. Please fix the problem that prevents me from using an e-mail client with your service.

    For several weeks now, I have been unable to use an e-mail client with my Verizon/AOL account. After successfully using Outlook with your service, for many years, it stopped working. After many unsuccessful attempts to access my e-mail Outlook, I downloaded and installed Thunderbird, but this program is also unable to work with my Verizon/AOL account. I see that many other people are experiencing the same problem. Your browser experience is really crude, lacking the many features that e-mail clients provide.

  15. Two weeks ago I lost the ability to send or receive email on my Android phone & on Outlook on my computer & can't rebuild the profiles. HELP

    I can still use my Verizon.net via the web. Did anything change at AOL? Can you look at my account? Can you help? Thanks!

  16. Verizon Account Users/Accounts Not working as of August 5th.

    Verizon email account users. As of 8/5/2021 Verizon emails are not able to be received and or sent successfully. This occurs with any third-party email clients. It's an AOL server issue. It is not a password, or server setting issue. AOL, please investigate your email server for Verizon account users.

  17. Accessing Verizon Email via Gmail Website

    I usually access my Verizon/AOL email via the Gmail website using POP to import email messages. As of 7/29/21, this stopped working. I tried using the new app-specific passwords in AOL email security, but it doesn't work. I get an error message about not being able to leave a copy of the message on the server. I have verified that the "leave message on server" box is unchecked.

    Note that this has been working fine for years, but something changed at AOL in the past week or so.

When I asked for help I received a message stating no help available due to Covid. The next page showed me a 24/7 help link for $4.99 per month. I do not want to use the service any longer. Looking for alternatives without hassle and ads.

  19. Poor tech support

    My case no. is 16688259. I have wasted two and one-half hours of my life in the last few days with no result.

    AOL needs to hire technicians and then train them so that they are actually competent regarding its software.
