How about this, we all start to cancel our business with AOL until they rollback this ******* decision. They have taken advise from some clown or competitor to ruin a decent business. a 20 yr customer about to cancel.1st ranked
This a complaint more than an idea for improvement. On 8/24/18 the spam controls for one of my email address has stopped filtering out spam. I add address to the "Block mail from addresses I specify" box but emails from those addresses keep coming. The whole mail controls page for that email address has changed, My other email addresses have remained unchanged. What gives??? This is very inconvenient.2nd ranked
Due to recent adjustments to the AOL Mail platform, the Spam Settings customization, are no longer available for all accounts. We apologize for the inconvenience. In order to block a specific sender, go to Options – Mail Settings – Spam Settings and add the email addresses in the box below “Block Mail from Addresses I Specify”, then click Save Settings at the bottom, and in case you receive unwanted emails in the Inbox, mark them as Spam.
Put back the option to only receive email from those people in my address book Please.3rd ranked
Thank you for sharing your feedback, we’ll send it over to the Product Team and hope to have it implemented in the future.

Advertising is one thing, but sending 'sponsored' Email to MY inbox without the ability to delete or block it is unacceptable.

Why is Trump survey appearing on my sign in page. Then to top it off the only options are that he is doing Great, Good, or Okay, Did you all get a hefty check and sell out in order to put this on the AOL page? It is Fake news and Fake Survey? I am disgusted it would even appear on my screen. Regardless of my political affiliation. Seems to be I was exploited.6th ranked
If someone gets mail that AOL designate as spam, why send it to our spam folder in the first place just delete it.7th ranked
I have the basic version of aol mail ( Free version) and used to be able to order my emails by From, subject , date etc.
However, now I am only able to order my emails by date and not any other column. Is this because I have the free version of AOL mail?8th ranked
The Read, Unread and See All filters are no longer available. However, you can sort your emails by date, subject or sender if you switch to the Unified Inbox view.
If you’re unsure how to switch to this view, please refer to the following help article: https://help.aol.com/articles/how-do-i-switch-to-the-unified-inbox-view.
To block an email address I have to take 17 steps ( copy, paste, save etc). Why can't there be a block and delete button next to each email received.9th ranked

Been with AOL forever, becoming more displeased with regards to the politics...Please Stop the anti Trump Campaign articles...Reposting another post that explains it well...."You wear your anti-Trump bias on your sleeve and it is pathetic. AOL is supposed to be for America, and your posture is destructive and politically motivated. I hate to open AOL each day and read your bias spin. Please stop, especially during this time in our country when you serve no good tearing us down. You obviously did not get the memo that "we are in this together" - you'd rather play politics and sow discord"10th ranked
I noticed that most of the spam that I receive comes from domains ending in ".co.uk" or ".org.uk" and I would like the ability to block domains that have those endings that are not in my address book or listed as approved senders. Is there a way to restrict these domains? Also, I would like AOL to return the option to block emails containing specific words or phrases. I have a paid account and it is very important to me that I be able to have the ability to restrict the excessive spam emails and emails containing ****** content. If AOL determines these are spam emails, they should be blocked completely. I do not want to have to keep wasting my time sifting through hundreds of spam emails in my spam folder when looking for something that may have slipped thru.

I cannot open attachments to my e-mails. What is the status of fixing this?12th ranked
Thanks for reaching out. There’s a known issue with Safari 14.0.1 on OS 10.14 where a security update broke attachment uploads. Can you try using another browser to see if it resolves the attachment issue? If it does not, please let us know so we can troubleshoot further.
Appreciate your understanding.

Can the delete, spam, and not spam buttons be colored or moved apart? They are too close and accidents occur. Please move the button apart and add a color change:
examples: red to delete, yellow for spam, orange for not spam, green for keep as new.
Or allow customization to do so.19th ranked
Have a "RETURN TO SENDER " button that tells them to STOP sending mail. This will force them to deal with a flood of email in their box. AOL customers should not have to deal with trying to unsubscribe to all the junk mail. WHO SOLD my mail address to all of the Spam senders; AOL? STOP IT .20th ranked
