All of my emails (that are not spam) are going into the spam folder. Even when I move them out of spam (OK, Not Spam), they will go to inbox temporarily and then right back into the spam folder. What is going on and how can this be corrected.

Mail from a sender who is in my contacts always goes to spam. Receiving these emails is CRITICAL. Deleted and re-added to contacts, and it still happens. Need a fix NOW.

Important emails from entities that are on my contact list are going to the spam folder. I cannot find any instructions on how to change the spam setting.

We already pay for AOL! Why would we need to pay more money to AOL - to stop AOL from Spamming our good emails?
AOL - you have a lot of Spam complaints. Time to fix the problems! -

Create a 'safe senders' list of senders whose messages will not go to my spam folder. I would put in that list addresses of senders whose messages are being declared to be spam but are not spam.

Even when the sender is in my contacts list, you keep putting random emails in the spam folder.
If you can't get it to work, at least give me an option to turn off spam filtering entirely. I'd rather delete an extra 10 emails/day than keep missing critical messages.
At this point, I find myself setting daily reminders to check my spam folder.

I keep marking good emails "Not Spam" and the same business emails keep going to Spam. I mark "Not Spam" sending the emails to my Inbox. I read, then save the emails. Within the hour, the same contact sends another email - and it is directed by AOL .... to SPAM! WHY?
FIX IT! -

I have been getting emails from contacts, that have been a part of my contact list for years, that for the last few days have be going automatically to my spam folder. There is no way to correct this other than checking my spam folder multiple times a day and marking all of the "not spam" as such and sending it to my inbox. It's bad enough that this is happening to existing contacts & there is no way to correct it, but here is the kicker...the number that would tell you how many emails you had in spam has been missing for quite a while---so to see if you even have anything in the spam folder, you have to actually go into the spam folder!!! How stupid is that?? It took me a few days to actually realize that this was happening & even longer to then find out that there is NOTHING that you can do about it!!

same thing is happening to me - AOL support would not help unless I purchased a service plan. There is no option to "whitelist" domain named or set a filter to automatically move an email to the inbox (you can automatically move emails to other folders, but not the inbox)!
I have to check spam multiple times a day and indicate "not spam", but the same senders keep going directly to spam..... -

All incoming mail from people who email me all the time and are in my contacts list are hitting my inbox then immediately going to the spam folder. This is happening in my other aol email address as well.

Since last Friday my coworker and I keep finding emails from people on our contact list in the spam folder. A customer called us and asked why we weren't answering our emails and it's because they were going to the spam folder.

Why are some emails -- even from people in our Contacts list -- not getting thru to our mailbox? Lots of SPAM makes it thru, regardless of the filters we have set up that really don't seem to be working.
AOL needs to fix this issue!

This is an issue that I've been having for a while and finally realized what was happening. Often times I will open an email on my phone but cannot address the e-mail so I mark it as unread for later. They have been disappearing lately and I couldn't find them. I now just discovered that ever e-mail I've done this with for the past few months is now in my SPAM folder. AOL please fix this issue.

Emails from a long time contact of mine recently have been going to spam even after I note his emails are not spam. Is there a solution for this?
