add to dictionary
My last name continually is flagged as a typo, and I have never been able to add it to the dictionary. Others email programs like gmail have this option to add to the dictionary.
AOL Mail does not have this feature, however, you can do this from your browser. Here’s how: right-click on it, and select Add to Dictionary.
I use a lot of abbreviations when typing an e-mail. I would like to see an auto-correct feature like I find in Word.
For instance when I type DC, it would auto-correct to spell out Washington, D.C. Another example, if I type NATO, it will auto-correct to spell out North Atlantic Treaty Organization.

Give me access to AOL's e-mail dictionary so that it can recognise MY NAME
There are newly accepted spellings, i.e. "penpal", I-phone" , et. al.,
that need to be excluded from spellcheck filtering.
What in the HECK is going on with autocorrect today? I cant even type my name. K auto corrects to "To" before I type in my second letter. I had another letter earlier this morning that was also changing before I could type out the whole word. Oh.. and your link to help for preventing using Mail as expected? Useless unless I am a paying customer. You need something to report errors for non-payers as well.
On the spellcheck before sending, can we have an option to add the offending word to the dictionary, so it doesn't come up as an error in the future? Can't see any option to do that at the moment.
