email keeps getting hacked
I have paid for this email for many years. As someone paying for a service, I expect to get service. My email has been hacked three times in the past three months. I am tired of constantly changing passwords, receiving multitudes of spam mails.....which are multiplying rapidly, and needing to constantly monitor your performance. Please, fix your extremely weak processes.

How did my email get hacked? I had a password with 14 characters - including upper and lower case and numbers? Thus far, I have received multiple notifications from names on my contact list. I just changed it to another strong password.

My aol account was hacked apparently because I got calls, texts and email about an email I supposedly sent to everyone, which looked fishy, and it was. So I changed my password.
When I went to look at the security issues for my account, you said everything is fine, no issues. But when I delved further I discovered that there was a request to allow outside apps to access my account, from DUBAI, where I've never been, and where it should appear to FB that something is amiss. Additionally, I got an email immediately that said I had changed my password and to do nothing if it was me. Why can't you do something like that for an invasion allowing apps to access the account, most of which are probably bogus, anyway. Seems to me that not too difficult a fix would help account holders a ton. You're seemingly so busy with so much to make more money, to advertise and to gather information, why not do something to protect us. PLEASE!!Scott Erwin

My AOL account has been hacked. My contact list disappeared along with most of my email history and two new addresses appeared to be linked into my account. People on my contact list have been receiving spam emails from my address. This needs to stop or I will drop AOL. Help.
