Won't attach..
AOL email will NOT open "Attach" to let me attach a folder to an email I need to send. Why?

We have a solution for you, please clear your browser history, cookies and cache here’s how: help.aol.com/articles/clear-cookies-cache-h…
Make sure that you have the latest version of the browser installed. You can try accessing your account on a different browser.
Also, check if the file names don’t include special characters and the total file size is limited to 25MB per email, which includes both incoming and outgoing messages.

March 2020--My verizon.net/AOL email will not let me send or save a draft of an email with an attachment. I see it's been a recurring problem. Is there a fix?

Mac have told me that the message 'We have encountered a technical problem" is because that aol have limited the attachment size.
I can't send jpegs less than 50kb (haven't been able to attach anything for a year) despite clearing my cache. I am not changing my browser aol should allow me to use safari Version 13.0.4 (14608.4.9.1.4) on a Macbook Air using latest version of MacOS mojave.
Have decided that I have to give up aol after 25 years - yes have same email address since 1995 and now aol have let me down. Shame

Technical problem - I have not been able to send attachments, often as small as 50kb for over a year now on aol.com email. I have got around it by using wetransfer, however some companies can't use that application so i would like to resolve this. I use a MacBook Air with safari, the email remains on the page the error message appears, the email is not sent, if I then remove the attachment I can send the email. I am not sending large attachments, I regularly shut down and reboot. Anyone know how to solve this?

In the standard version when I send an email with an attachment (small pdf, jpeg, etc.), the recipient can't open the attachment. Also, instead of the attachment having the name of the file I had saved it as, it has a file name of "partfile 0" and does nothing when trying to open it. I have tried clearing cookies, cache, history, etc. I have tried other browsers. I have tried other devices. I have even had coworkers try from their AOL account. All have the same issue in the standard version. However, if you revert back to the basic version, the emails with attachments go through and are able to be opened with no problem. Please look into this!

Attachments in the standard version will upload, but once sent the attached file name says partfile 0 instead of the file I attached. If I send the email in the basic version the attached file is fine. I prefer the standard version and it defaults to the standard, HELP PLEASE!

Cleaned, cleared machine out as you suggested. Attached one attachment to a online e-mail still would not go.
Yahoo it goes without a problem -

Unable to open attachment before sending. AOL tech did a test and after sending the sender can open the attachment. This needs to be resolved ASAP.

I can't send attachments.. it's always a problem.. been going on for many months now.. What has changed? They're not even large files. I'm thinking of getting off of AOL now because of this. It's really irritating. Please fix this immediately. I've tried everything on my end.
