Problems accessing emails using local dial up numbers
For the last two months I have had continued problems accessing the internet using AOL Dial Up, using the local phone numbers, but I could connect using a long distance 877 number. after a number of calls to tech services the finally admitted that many subscribers were having trouble connecting to these local numbers. Now I am unable to access my email using AOL's software/browser. I can access it using Google Chrome. This problem is still present and I have only be able to access the internet and my email a few days during the last two months. Very disappointing! I have been a paying AOL subscriber for almost 18 years. At the end of several calls to tech services they suggested I purchase additional software to optimize my computer and fix my problems. Very insulting, since I pay extra for tech services already. Why would I pay for additional software when the software I am already paying for has major problems??? Good money after bad?Even though my service has not functioned for most of the last two months I have received no credits to my account. Sorry for being so critical, but if you can't keep you basics functioning properly you need better software engineers.
