Bogus emails mimicking my email or those in my address book keep sending me links to click on. I never do, but AOL needs to stop this hack
I often get emails from "myself" or my family in my address book with not much more than an attachment or link to click on. This tells me my address book, or that of an address in my book has been hacked. This is NOT acceptable!!! Show some guts. Block these things. I have reported this before, but I am given no option to attach the bogus email to a report to AOL's fraud department. Fix this problem. I don't fall for these things, but someone else might and wind up losing their identity through AOL.

Email spoofing is a technique that spammers use to send spam without it seeming like the message was from them. The spammer enters your email address in the From: field to make it seem like the spam message is coming from your AOL Mail address even though it is being sent from the spammer’s email account.
