Unable to Edit Address Book/Contacts
I have been informed on 12/18/19 that the AOL Contacts/AddressBook is no longer editable...........after a 2 hour nightmare with online chat, remote sessions and phone calls.
They explained that it was a "migration issue" having something to do with Yahoo and AOL merging and that since then (almost a year ago)......any edit to an existing contact has not been saved. This is too ***** to be believed but this is what phone support told me after multiple consults with a "senior technician". I am PAYING for AOL--which is ridiculous enough--BUT they give you a Contact List that once a contact is entered, it can no longer be changed ??? The support person told me if I wanted to change a contact, I should save the info from current one somewhere else (not inside AOL), DELETE the current one and then start over making a new contact for the same person, using the same info I saved elsewhere.
In case anyone from AOL doubts this, refer to case #11114301 for reference. I HATE this and I am looking into getting out of AOL after 20+ years. My entire business contact list is inside AOL email and now it's been frozen from editing.
