SPAM Settings
It would be so nice if I could more easily BLOCK a SPAM sender/email. Just a simple button or something. Sick of having to open the email and copy and paste the address I want to block in my spam settings.

For the past 2 months I have been getting 5-20 Spams a day that all have a string of numbers, letters and symbols in the subject but the sender name is always different. I have changed my password a few times but they still keep coming. I send them to the Spam folder but the system is not learning these all constitute Spam. What to do ?

Once an email sender or domain is marked and accepted as spam automatically delete all future emails from that sender or domain without sending to the spam folder

Oh, all of a sudden it works. Good.
I hope AOL sorts out this problem and that when we unsubscribe, that means the end of it and not a billion emails from all other email addresses which contain the same thing.

Listen AOL. We do not want span and even when we subscribe to the spam, we still get loads of spam. It is easy for you to sort out so how about getting on top of it? Hurry up.
And now before I can send this post, you are telling me that I have to sign in and when I click on your sign in link, it does not work. How extremely backward. Sort it out ffffsssss.

If we choose to have mail only from contscts why do we have to have spam go to a spam folder; why not just completly block spam?

Since I have installed "Complete by AOL," including Tech Fortress and McAfee, the SPAM flood gates have opened up. For many years only about one or two actual SPAM emails hit my SPAM folder during a week. Now it is anywhere from 80-100 PER DAY. WHAT HAPPENED TO THE PROTECTION????

I am receiving so much spam on AOL that I opted to select `Block all senders except contacts` but it has made no difference as my spam folder continues to fill.
What part of `all senders` does AOL not understand?
Are spammers somehow not senders?

I know this is useless, but why not create a way to report pornographic spam email? Does anybody care about catching these idiots?

I got sent here when Verizon decided they didn't want email anymore... and it was working pretty good until recently. I would rather have the SPAM sent to my inbox in Outlook and let Outlook figure it out, than have it blocked by AOL and it never get to me.. even if I say it's not SPAM, it's still ends in the SPAM box and I have not been able to find a way to TURN IT OFF!?!?!?

Ditto! Ever since my update for the Oct 20th authentication issues, My Bank of America email goes to the spam folder and there seems to be no solution to this problem. I try to reclassify on the web version (mail.aol.com)......but after hours of trying, nothing seems to work. I am left manually reclassifying and reviewing my spam folder. It is a waste of time and now after 25 years of Aol use, I may have to convert to gmail. You are leaving your users with no other choice. AOL appears to be dead email system. Fix or a quarter of century of use will be history. “You Forgot Mail”

The SPAM filter is absolutely useless and wrong. I get lots of real emails in my SPAM file, and then lots of obvious junk in my inbox. I have reclassified and hit "NOT SPAM" literally thousands of times for some frequent senders and they STILL END UP IN SPAM! What is wrong with this? I have kept a subscription for decades because I don't want to switch, but honestly gmail is billions of times easier.

I had over 100 in 3 days. Just too crazy and many of them "suggestive" and ****** just from the title. That is disgusting.

I can't even find a SPAM filter. I just know you keep sending email I want to SPAM along with mail that is clearly SPAM. Maybe I'm making a mistake to read my email in my Chrome browser!
