Why have a "Block All Senders Except Contacts," if it DOESN'T WORK??? Even after checking the box I'm STILL getting bloody SPAM MAIL! Every SINGLE day, several times a day, I have to delete unwanted SPAM MAIL!!!!! AOL, do SOMETHING to make this STOP!!!!

I have the same thing, all starting with "reply@..."
I have even deleted all contacts and have used filters, which are not working. It seems these spammers have control of settings to manipulate them or they simply don't work.

AOL Spam filer is useless! besides, I do not see ANY effort from AOL to filter them. I received 20 to 30 spam a day from the SAME company even though they change the origin www you can see they have the same format, text, and useless email address to request stop spam.

The issue doesn't resolve itself. The senders Email address is never the same but is definitely NOT in my contacts list!

An addendum to the previous statement - 1,540 SPAM (!) was received in November alone with a record 99 on 11/2 & at least 50 more SPAM 20 times. 1245 SPAM in October. I have been tracking SPAM for several months & each month, the numbers go up.

What information do you actually NEED??? Currently, there are over 2,000 SPAM (that's right) in the Spam folder!!! At least 50 times since September, I had to DELETE "senders" to add new ones. The email addresses do not matter - if the "spammer" finds out that their address has been blocked, they will use another or a combination of previously used address to deflect attention. Also, since there are 2,000 + SPAM, your 1000 address blocking limit is WORTHLESS!!! Recommend YOU (not me) figure out why there are 2000 + SPAM (many are repeats of the same subject matter) coming from not only the U.S. but from countries such as Wales, Poland, Malta & Vietnam. Increasing the block list to unlimited would be a start. Blocking should include IP address and/or Subject, or certain words & phrases that could be easy to monitor as well as "@soandso.com" type domain names. Based on the current list of SPAM, recommend that any domain name that has the following be blocked: RETURN@, return@, GUM@, returnpath@, admin@, ADMIN@, info@, boy@, A@, Costco@, support@, Co@, @fradstelot.com, mail@, Hard@, MASK@, MASK.com and last but not least @spectruminc.com (tend to send multiple blocks of SPAM several times every few days). The same "spammers" send bogus email (which are never opened) to claim there are affiliated with many well known name brands or whatever major issue is popular (i.e. pandemic testing kits). Well inside the Message Source of the SPAM are easy clues and hints to eliminate most if not all such instances. I do not have any patience for spending hours each day blocking SPAM addresses which do NOTHING!!! because YOU won't do your job!!!

I feel for you as i am having the same problem and AOL is doing NOTHING AT ALL....I get an average of 50+ spam emails during the day and double that through the night......that are DISGUSTING...DIRTY UTTER FILTH yet even when I put keywords in a filer to block them, and adding the email address to block them, I still get them. My kids are seeing this shit and its getting to the point where after 21 years of being with AOL....I am on the verge of sacking them off completely.....they do NOTHING to help
