Receiving OLD email
Am suddenly receiving emails from merchants dated 2018, 2019 (it is now 2021) all having to do with payments received or invoices waiting for payment. I have checked with one merchant and they have no record of having sent the email and I am paid in full with them. Since these emails are from various merchants with whom I've done business in the past, it looks like the problem source could be AOL instead of the merchant. Could you please look into this and reply? I do not see any other way on your site to report this issue.

Same here I have saved folders for different bills and they showed up in my old mail 2354 emails from 2018 to 2020 they are forcing us to use their new set up of no old mail file They need to leave well enough alone I DO NOT LIKE THIS NEW SET UP AT ALL do this and it should help put items back into yours folders you have saved

Learn how to switch your Inbox from the New/Old Inbox style to the Unified Inbox style.The Unified Inbox displays all your emails in one place, as opposed to separate New Mail and Old Mail folders. Emails in the Unified Inbox are listed by date, with the latest message on top.
1. Go to your AOL Mail inbox.
2. Click Options | Mail Settings.
3. Click the General tab, if not already there.
4. Next to "Inbox Style," select Use Unified Inbox style or Use New/Old style.
5. Click Save Settings.

Has there been any updates as how to fix this? Tons of emails from other folders have shown up as like others have said and can not move or delete them, maybe another thread I have not seen for a answer to this?

Beware of any email stating that you have old invoices due for payment ?? This happened to me last month, it went into my Blocked / Spam file but I was expecting an emailed invoice!! ' Made the mistake of Moving ' it into my IN BOX
THIS ALLOWED SPAMMERS / Phishers ?? To access my Friends emails addresses and send them fraudulent emails >>>>> beware >> ignore them & Delete >>
If GENUINE the Invoice will be followed up and hopefully. Will go into your IN BOX -

I am having the same issue. 2018 and 2019 emails are showing up. I try to delete them or move them and they will not move or delete.

Same problem. Endless old emails from 2019 & previous dates are showing up in "new mail" on AOL. A majority of emails are from a service that also sends a duplicate to my gmail.com address. No duplication of old emails are showing up on the gmail account.

This problem started 4/1/2021. Still continues on 4/2/2021. Old mail shows up in "old mail" in blocks of 50. Delete those & 50 more show up.
