    RECENT UPDATES HAVE CAUSED TO MANY PROBLEMS LEAVE ARE OLD MAIL SETTING ALONE

    Same here I have saved folders for different bills and they showed up in my old mail 2354 emails from 2018 to 2020 they are forcing us to use their new set up of no old mail file They need to leave well enough alone I DO NOT LIKE THIS NEW SET UP AT ALL do this and it should help
    Switch to the Unified Inbox view

    Learn how to switch your Inbox from the New/Old Inbox style to the Unified Inbox style.

    The Unified Inbox displays all your emails in one place, as opposed to separate New Mail and Old Mail folders. Emails in the Unified Inbox are listed by date, with the latest message on top.

    Go to your AOL Mail inbox.

    Click Options | Mail Settings.

    Click the General tab, if not already there.

    Next to "Inbox Style," select Use Unified Inbox style or Use New/Old style.

    Click Save Settings.

    I see I'm not the only one: a few days ago some (not all) of my saved emails reappeared in my "New Mail" folder. I hope this is a glitch they can fix quickly.

    AOL is holding my emails ******* until I buy a service contract! I've been an AOL member since 1999. I receive some emails but not all. When I try to verify differant accounts, I use my AOL account to send verification codes and I'm not receiving them. AOL refused to help until I purchase a service contract. Why is this just now happening?

    A bunch of old mail that was in folders has appeared in my new mail and and I cannot move it, even though it says it is moved. Apparently I'm not the only person this happened to, Help?

    I am seeing emails from as far back as when I first got an email address and that has been quite a few years all as new mail. WHY??? It's taking emails from folders and putting them in as new mail. Again WHY??? Please fix this!!!!!

    I noticed about a week ago that all my old mail was in my 'New Mail' folder. I also noticed there is an option to select for 'New/Old' mail or 'All Mail.' I have continually selected 'New/Old' mail, as that is the option I have been using for my 20 years on AOL, but it won't convert to 'New/Old' but keeps me in 'All Mail.' I can't even delete my 'Old mail'! What is going on? Is this a system-wide error or is it particular to me? Please advise.

    Am having the same issues and no reply from aol. Emails from 2019 appearing in in box which were once in a folder. Cannot move them. Plus the recently deleted box shows more documents. Has aol been hacked? Is that why they are so quiet?

    I'm getting old e-mails from years back 2017-2019 previously filed in other folders reappearing in my old email folders. What's going on here??

    Today, 4-13-2021 - Same - My old emails are in my New Mail folder, clicking to Move To does not work.....when will this be fixed please?

    I like that estrili10, they break something that they created, and then they'll charge users $19 to figure out how to fix it.

    Old saved emails appear as new mail and I can not remove them. Are you going to address this problem or is it beyond repair and I should go else where

    yep... Same as everyone else... Hundreds of emails from two years ago are in my new mail and I can't move them back.

    Hundreds of my old emails have been sent back to my new email screen. I tried to move some of them back. I get the message that they have been moved but they remain on the new screen. Never had this problem with AOL before.

    I have followed the instructions to set mail choices as New/Old (the way it used to be) versus All Mail, which shows all of my old saved mail. The choice of New/Old didn't work. I have three AOL email accounts and same problem with each of them. I am having this problem on all my Windows computers and on my iPhone and iPad.

    A whole bunch of old emails from various folders have seemed to bleed into my New Mail. I hope this can be corrected.

    i called about the old emails and she told me i had to go to technical support and pay 19 dollars a month ! bull
