My Outlook stop connecting to my AOL (formerly verizon email). I tried to create an app password but the AOL account security does not provide a drop down menu for app name. How do I reconnect? Thanks
Hi again. There is no dropdown menu for an app name. You can enter the name of the app and copy the generated password.

What a mess. Why can't aol just publish simple instructions that work? the app password is only needed for 2 factor right? right? it never sets up.
