By not changing
Here is a idea as old as the hills and still rings true till this day.
HOW ABOUT NOT FIXING SOMETHING THAT IS NOT BROKEN.
See I use AOL because I love it. I have had it for years. I hate Gmail Yahoo and All other email sites. I love this one and I don't see anything wrong. I know if you change it then you'll start throwing ads popping all up and bull like that. Seriously you know you have to pay for it somehow. Save your money Sit back and relax you have done a great job so far don't change a thing.

I am looking to switch to a newer browser called BRAVE. It does have so many toggles to understand and parameters to set up at the beginning. But it has some intuitive flow for my needs.
However, the initial and early reviews in computer users' magazines, it does receive good praise for its flexibility of use. It was created with the intent of reducing the amount of effort and time to input the data you want to be processed. I I need to clean and gut out about 30,000 emails from the past 15 years of storage to allow my computer to run faster.
Investigation time will be worth the effort at the present. -

Yes: I have had AOL mail for decades & your tech dept. makes foolhardy changes with MAIL that just gets worse with what they think is good for customers!! They make each one more difficult & nonsensical for USERS. STOP THEM FROM CHANGING THINGS THAT WERE JUST FINE & NOW A BIG PAIN!

I, too, have had AOL for years. And, so far I've been happy with it. BTW - I PAY for it but like the fact that it has extras that would cost as much as the subscription (such as antivirus protection for my devices). However, I will have to quit AOL if the changes take effect that won't allow me to see the entire email address. So much spam spoofs names to use as the sender and only by looking at the WHOLE address is it obvious that it's spam. This is for my Mac using Chrome. I hate using AOL on my Android phone due to this. Just like other vendors - too lazy to make a separate interface for computers vs mobile devices???? Wondering ...
