I do not find the new AOL Mail user friendly - - at all
I have been using the new AOL Mail for a while now, and I still hate it. Please return to the older format. It was more user intuitive and you could find things!! I am not happy. As one of the first users of AOL mail I won't be changing any time soon - - - but it's tempting!

I do not like the new format, it is difficult to navigate, awkward to go to any search engine and the ads are a nuisance to have to clear away. I am not impressed and have been 'told' that I cannot revert to the old format. Being forced to take on this new ad-driven format with no choice is against all policies of freedom to choose. AOL have alienated me and many others with this enforced change.

I hate that it wont let you type like a regular document.... for example, you can't use the carriage return while typing. You essentially have to insert a bunch of blank lines to start and then go back to each line to add text or you only get a running string of text with no formatting
I like the old search better as well.
Please return to the old format - sometimes new is NOT better

The contacts screen is especially difficult to use. It only displays the first four contacts starting with each letter, and requires you to click on a down arrow to reveal more. This confused me at first into thinking that most of my contacts had been deleted, and, even now that I know, it is still an unnecessary extra step in finding a contact.
Finding contacts is also made difficult by the fact that there is no search box. I can search in the main search box, but this only shows me emails from contacts. It does not help if I want to find a contact to edit or to read a mailing address.
Finally, although it is possible to make it sort the contacts by last name, this selection does not persist between sessions. It must be re-selected every time I open AOL mail.
Overall, this "upgrade" seems incompletely tested and poorly thought out to begin with. I wish you would revert to the previous version. That one actually works.

New format NOT user friendly...eliminates many of the old great features,

The new version sucks, I want the Classic one back, it's more user friendly. Don't like the view, who the **** decided that having so few choices on how the view looks was a good idea, fire them. I want one long list and I want the column layout to be my choice of where they are located.

Please, please put the attachments back up by the subject line where they used to be. My recipients don't think to page down to the bottom of my emails to find them. So stupid!!!

I hate this new AOL Mail!!! I've been trying to insert my signature and company logo into the email and I can't find a way to do it. I don't want to attach it, I want to insert it. Different things!!! Asking for help is useless because they direct you to something that does not work at all. And there is no option to revert to the old format! My kids were right. I need to find another provider. This is absurd!

email@example.com here - I signed in so i can tell you i have used aol news and mail since 1996 and will drop aol tomorrow (may 4, 2023) if you don't restore me to the previous format? What you have done is make aol a bunch of indecipherable, unusable garbage. Restore me to the previous format or I will begin using GMAIL and MSN MAIL EXCLUSIVELY!
