reinstate 'Empty Spam Folder' option

What happened to right-clicking the Spam icon in the left margin and having the "empty Spam Folder" option come up instead of having to go into the folder and delete entries page by page?

    I seem to have deleted my spam folder and would like to reinstate it. I used to receive twenty to thirty spam emails a day. Now? Nothing. Please reinstate it.
