Asterisk Wild Card
I'm getting tons of spam messages and most of it seems to be coming from the same sender. The syntax is similar in the email addresses and off just enough so that AOL does not allow me to block them. I can no longer block domain names nor can I use the asterisk as a wild card to block similar addresses. So the spammers are changing their email address just enough to bypass my choices with AOL to block them. What can you do to investigate these people and get them to stop?

make it easier to delete
WHY do we have to go through 3 keyboard processes to delete the **** spam you dump in our spam folder. MAKE IT ONE PROMPT to check all and delete all. Just like GMAIL

When blocking email senders, I should be able to use blanket wild card sylbols like and asterisk to block all emails which start that way.
PLEASE allow us to block emails from a sender which starts with a single word, like Admin, since spammers use that under 100s of addresses after @. I should be allowed to block all emails which start with Admin.

I'm getting VERY irate over your leftist woke BS news feed. Take it OFF my email page!
Quit giving us all that leftist ******** on our mail page, I hate seeing all those **** deepstate LIES, every **** time I open my email page! I'm quite certain many others are just as annoyed but won't bother to complain about it. I am **** tired of all the ******* propaganda being shoved in our faces from every news program and places like this, that should not be giving any kind of news at all, you are an email provider, do THAT and nothing ELSE!

Spam icon not showing number of pieces in folder
I don't like the change to the spam folder which no longer shows how many pieces of mail are in the folder next to the icon like New Mail and Drafts. I use to just glance at this folder to see how many were in there now I have to open it up. I just figured this out and don't understand why you would make this change.

make it easy to forward AOL spoof/phishing to your security people
other sites have an email to which received spoof/phishing emails could be forwarded for review by their security
one would THINK that AOL would be interested in seeing those apparent spoof/phishing emails that reference AOL accounts (that are getting through your SPAM software) >>>or maybe not
this seems to be on the uptick and without it, use of AOL becomes a poor choice

People with AOL are being inundated with spam email. AOL has to do a better job blocking massive amounts of junk email.
People with AOL are being inundated with spam email. AOL has to do a better job blocking massive amounts of junk email. I will switch to gmail or yahoo as these two alternatives do not have this much of a problem.

ITs really simple. Make a 'Delete all Spam' option so we do not have to go page by page. I have gone from 100 spam pieces a day to over 1000
Spam has increased by ten fold. Every day its up from 100 to over 1000. page by page deletion is so 20th century. Make a 'DELETE ALL SPAM' option. Gmail provides this option why can't you??????????

"Blocked Senders failed to add". Why?
"Blocked Senders failed to add". Why? I have to sort through over 200 **** emails daily to make sure I don't delete critical emails. After sorting those out, and moving them to my inbox, I should be able to Select All (in Spam) and click "Block Senders", but I get the above refusal. After other emails are added Spam, "Block Senders" is gone.

Android phone mail.
In an open email, the pop-up selection on the MORE menu - could you please consider moving the "Mark as spam" option lower in the choices and not at the top of the list. I don't know how many times I have accidentally hit than instead of "Mark as unread".

Not enough block senders
Increase the amount of emails to be blocked from 1,000 to no limit or at least 2,000.

Spam/privacy settings - need to be able to turn off read receipts
Need to be able to turn off read receipts - spammers and scammers use them to see if the account is live. If you want to report them to the email platform they are using, you have to open the email! Catch 22!

TURN OFF SPAM BLOCKER
Why aren't you listening to us? The spam filter is maddeningly inconsistent. As a prime example, I ordered two iPhones from Apple. I got the email notification for one. The second order's email went to Spam. Also, I am constantly having to reapprove senders. I use desktop Outlook so I don't use the web interface except to clean up messes you made. YOU ARE NOT HELPING WITH THIS AT ALL

Delete Spam
I appreciate that spam mail is captured in a spam folder, which allows me the option of moving an email to my in-box or deleting. However, it would be awesome of the email I delete from the spam folder is automatically added to a blocked email. In two days, I've received 92 emails from 120225194@addtocartnow. Each of those emails has an extension on their email address. I can't possibly keep up with adding each one to my blocked mail folder. In addition to "delete," could an option be added that would block those email addresses from being delivered to…

Scam call about AOL account. Scam number (424-326-1582) Scam Number
Received 2 calls today about my AOL account being compromised from random location in Virginia. After the first call I played it safe and changed my passwords on desktop and other devices to be sure but got a call again from a different person with the same script saying someone was accessing the account. Checked the account after the password change and only see me, myself logged in and the devices I gave permission to for my account and nothing from Virginia. I've already blocked the number. IF this number appears on your phone 424-326-1582, just know it's a scam…

New AOL owners and spam
When sold the new company obtained all our data. AOL never contacted me about our data being sold. Were any us ever given any info on the new owners of our data? Verizon agreed to sell AOL and Yahoo to the private-equity firm Apollo Global Management. My idea is for AOL to contact Apollo and ask them if they distributed our data to advertisers and could AOL customers receive contact info for the owners of our data.
This article is from before the sale happened, but interesting and discusses the potential uses of our data by Apollo Global Management leading… -
wildcard characters
I am now getting emails from onmicrosoft.com. This is a feature of business 365. This allows the admin to change the sub-domain name at will. So one day it could be me.onmicrosoft.com, the next it could be you.onmicrosoft.com. Is there a possibility for your engineers to allow a windcrard character '*' so all emails in the block sender list with *.onmicrosoft.com will be blocked. I wrote to the abuse email to MS but they told me the names change so often they cannot remove the abuser.

Do not abuse email addresses with your spam
The Marketing Preferences portal for AOL is a joke. Despite turning off all marketing for each individual option for every one of my account's email addresses, AOL still adds more discrete marketing options that default to on, thus making this a pointless exercise for those that wish to completely opt out. Please honor the wishes of those that have unsubscribed entirely and stop all marketing correspondence in perpetuity.

Change the outlook of the advertiser, Concert.
Some content among the advertisements needs to be checked for the propriety, that is, the consideration by adults as models and teachers who are adults in the lives to our vulnerable teenagers. There is an image of young teens squeezed together back-to-front-back-to front, skin-to-skin-skin-to skin. Underwear. I believe that the purveyor is Concert. Please study it and get rid of it. It is an offense to children's healthy development.
