Can the delete, spam, and not spam buttons be colored or moved apart?
Can the delete, spam, and not spam buttons be colored or moved apart? They are too close and accidents occur. Please move the button apart and add a color change:
examples: red to delete, yellow for spam, orange for not spam, green for keep as new.
Or allow customization to do so.19th ranked -
ordering emalis
I have the basic version of aol mail ( Free version) and used to be able to order my emails by From, subject , date etc.
However, now I am only able to order my emails by date and not any other column. Is this because I have the free version of AOL mail?8th rankedThe Read, Unread and See All filters are no longer available. However, you can sort your emails by date, subject or sender if you switch to the Unified Inbox view.
If you’re unsure how to switch to this view, please refer to the following help article: https://help.aol.com/articles/how-do-i-switch-to-the-unified-inbox-view.

Adverstisment on AOL Opening Page
AOL on its opening page present excellent articles one followed by another. Originally it was a pleasure to read and learn from these Pictorial Articles. But then it appears some smart Alex at AOL thought of interspersing those pages with Advertisements to the point that these ads have become an irritant to the reader. I personally at first skipped these ads. Now I do not even Look at those Articles. I get them better at other sites. I believe that others must be doing the same. I came to AOL for efficiency & security in communicating with my addressee and…

AOL web mail search fails on long phrases
I took the subject of a common email and searched for it, to delete them all, but it failed to find these exact matches. I removed some words and it found them, so your search function has a solid bug with longer phrases!

Just Came Over From Netscape -- When Can I Go Back To Those Settings / Views / Layouts?
Netscape mail was VERY organized and viewable - 20 messages per page, easy navigation to other pages and folders, simple links to move / delete / spam list messages. This AOL page seems to be nothing more than Outlook in disguise.

It would be most helpful to have filters for new mail, unread mail, flagged, unflagged, attachments like you have on the aol app.
It would be most helpful to have filters for new mail, unread mail, flagged, unflagged, attachments like you have on the aol app. Management of my email without these filters is quite cumbersome. You used to have them. Please include them in the next (hopefully very soon) update. Thank you!

Hey AOL - how about less emphasis on ads, and more attention to your customers?
It is extremely frustrating to have to put up with no less than 4 full screens of advertising just to actually get to my Email!! Separating the Login screen from the Password screen, just so AOL can sell more ad revenue, wastes my time, slows the process and is very annoying. Also, I notice constant problems with email loading and navigation, but those stupid, annoying banner ads always come right up!!

functionality
It would be great when within an email, there was a "back to inbox" arrow that would take you back to the Inbox, rather than having to click on the Inbox in the left pane. (Similar to what gmail already has). Just a thought for easier navigation.

Important Emails, and/or auto filter labels and tags?
Hello AOL,
Is there a way to mark emails from specific contacts as important? So we can search them and perhaps set at custom notifications?
iOS works great with VIP marked emails using the AOL, however it would be nice to have on your Web Email too.
Or pehaps filters that automatically flag emails, with customizable labels and colors. This is a valuable outlook and gmail feature and wonder if AOL could devise a similar system?
Thank you for your attention,

Mass delete using search
We should be able to search for keywords and delete all emails associated with one click. That was the case before.

Email list goes back to top
When I open an email (clicking from the emails in the list), it reverts back to the top of the new messages list. Then I have to scroll all the way back to where I was. That is really a problem if going back many pages of new mail. It may be difficult to find the place again. Would be nice of you could go through mail and read one by one staying in place where you wer in the list

searching for one email only
please give us back the ability to search through our emails alphabetically. Why has that disappeared? Bloody inconvenient when trying to search back to find one email. That was a much easier way to zero in on one email. The ability to search only by date is unworkable.

Help system process
Since I have been with you over 20 years as a UK user, I can safely say you need to address a Help system which will not restore a suddenly inaccessible account using your automated 'do this, now do that....oops still we can't sign you in' approach.
It would have taken less screen time to have called as we used to be able to, even with the extraordinary wait entailed - but this is just ineffective cost saving on your part.
Restoring a client email address is surely a fundamental part of an email service, is it not? Needless to…766th ranked -
