Stop hounding me with authorizations to sign into my accounts I've had for over 20 yrs. I got this OK ???
Why
(and I know there's a reason) are you hounding me and my addresses with Robot verification as well as additional already provided information, this alleged new info you need is requested by AOL. I got my first address in 1994 I got this, there is no problems, leave it ! its not about security you want updates on people's phone numbers etc ? Your methods are a bit obvious. Please leave my accounts alone unless there's an actual issue if you want more info then ask. -
I have some suggestions to make changes in your navigation
I have some suggestions to make changes in your navigation by reading the whole body of the email without opening or clicking the message.

Display all new emails in the main body of the email area instead of indiv folders.
Instead of putting new emails in their folders automatically give the user a choice. I lke my new emails to be in the main area so I can review, move or delete without having to open every folder. I don't like this new feature. I would prefer the same features used in the Yahoo emails.

Search function has been downgraded.
Search function HAS to include a way to search only within New Mail, or Sent by, or all the other wonderful options you used to allow.
The ability to do this used to be the reason I prefer AOL to Gmail.
BRING BACK a way to narrow my search to only new mail!!! -

The popup ad just overwrote the advanced search feature so I can't access it. I am trying to clean up my unread emails.
Allow better access to advanced search, in the search box. Also allow quotes to search for a phrase. Now if you put in a 2 word phrase such as "Berkeley Engineering" it finds all lines with Berkeley or Engineering.

All Ads need to have immediate feedback and turn-off.
For every Ad that appears there needs to be a way to immediately turn it off. Right now some Ads with content that I do not care to have on my page, but there is no way to just immediately turn it off. If you follow the 'ad sense' or whatever ad of the day happens to be serving the ad, you just end up in ambiguous pages that really do not address the issue in any way.

For D-E-C-A-D-E-S, when I sign-in you ask for contact information and give me ONE OPTION: "remind me later". NO! ENOUGH! STOP!!! THE ANSWER IS NO. S-T-O-P ASKING!!!! GIVE ME ANOTHER OPTION: "No, thank you. I'll risk it."

Deleting by sender
It should not matter how many emails you have we should be able to search by FROM so we can delete all at once. Example: I want to pull up all HyVee emails and delete all HyVee at one time instead of clicking one by one. This would help keeping the number emails down and less time spent cleaning up emails. ?????????

Email Inbox & Opened email view - The tool bar and the folders section on the left should be freeze while scrolling the inbox or the opened email rather than the complete page is scrolling

AOL desktop web mail, Gold needs an Archive button, folder like AOL mobile web mail
AOL mobile web mail has an Archive button and the Archive folder is pinned to the top of the folder list. Both AOL desktop web mail and AOL Gold do not do either.

Enable Readability Mode Issue
Using Windows 10 laptop and Opera Browser, once I choose "enable readability mode" from general settings, and the email format changes over, there is no way to navigate back to original format. The mode isn't built correctly to have a full listing of options in the settings, so once a user chooses "enable readability mode," there is no way to cancel the choice and go back to original format. I verified this with tech support case# 18194719. Please fix. Also, like others have said, the readability mode features fonts that are very small. While they are bolder and DO provide…

Maybe put trash icon all the way to the far right side of the line/screen and make it ALWAYS visible:)

going back to the beginning of emails after deleting
When I delete an email that is down in my list I am returned to the top of the page. this did not used to happen. What gives.
The changes being made are making this format more impossible to call user friendly. If I wish to look at an email in landscape format on my phone I can not do it. Why? I used to be able read in landscape format or portrait format.
The changes make me want to leave AOL. after 30+ years?
Please stop dropping user friendly features that can not be an addition expense to aol.

GROUPS
I would like to a button on the top of email called "groups."
Ideally, you could click on "groups" to view all groups, then have a choice to click on: "email group", "add to group," and other choices.
