AOL managed to ruin the only good thing they had going for them.
Key features are missing, and other's are scattered about senselessly.
Why tempt us with "old version" which is not the old version? Did you think we wouldn't notice? I've endured all of your annoying advertising for all these years.
I'm looking for alternatives after 30-ish years with AOL. What a bummer, and a major pain **********. And for what, exactly? Why?
I hope they see all the negative feedback and truly offer the original version back, but I'm not holding my breath. -

inbox of unread emails
I want an inbox that will ONLY show Unread emails. Your new design does not allow that functionality.

At least keep the action header stable when reading email. When I've scrolled down to the bottom of the email and want to delete it, I have
I have to go all the way back to the top of the page to do it. Also, Ctrl-S no longer works. I also prefer the old version of mail. I could re-arrange the columns, which cannot be done in this version.

I hate the changes that occurred to AOL mail today, e.g., where is the option to link a URL within an outgoing message?
Today's changes are, in my opinion NOT an improvement.

I absolutely hate the new email setup.

Search function issues
This new format is TERRIBLE to use for searching.
If I search for an old emai I get a whole page of them, sometimes several in the same day. If I pick one to open, and it's not the right one, there's no longer an Up or Down arrow to step through them one at a time to find the right one! Who thought that would be a good idea to omit?? As it is now, if I open one, and it's not the one I wanted, I close it, and the navigation takes me back to the top of…
