  1. system unresponsive and the e-mail inbox window does not refresh after overlayed with another window

    After I login to AOL Desktop gold the AOL system is hanging and unresponsive for about 30 seconds before it becomes responsive again. Also when I click on read e-mail the AOL desktop system becomes unresponsive again and hangs for about 30 seconds before email displays. It does not appear the e-mail has been refreshed. ALso when I open an email to view the contents and then close the email, the email inbox listing screen contents is wiped and not refreshed automatically after it is overlayed with another window.   2. Recognize your own email addresses

    I recently received an email from another AOL subscriber [diggeology@aol.com]. When I tried to respond to it, I received a "MAILER-DAEMON@aol.com" notice that "552: 1 Requested mail action aborted, mailbox not found"

    In case you're wondering [or even care] why people are leaving AOL in droves, here you go.

  4. Dear Editor & Ladies and Gentlemen: Please revert to DARK FONTS for better READING

    Every, yes, indeed, EVERY AOL Desktop PAGE shows solely utter grayed font lettering everywhere!-- Those faintly displays of important information are indeed very difficult to be read by vision-impaired individuals everywhere. Please change your future information displayed solely in DARK printing. Many thanks in advance for your time.

  5. I am getting a lot of ads in another language, think that it is Spanish. I don't speak Spanish and it is offensive.

    Why would you think that ads in another language other than English would appeal to me, a long-time customer using the English language. Totally offensive.

  8. Fonts and terrible

    The fonts get all digitalized like the old parallel printers. It has happened before but my own Best Buy Techs fixed it after hours of trying. As soon as I got on with your tech it got bad again. HELP!!!

  10. The View

    2nd Request: PLEASE REPLY &/OR HELP

    "My Mail Folders" section was working fine and then out of the blue this "Views" and accompanying headings surprisingly just shows up. I will never use it and it wont even stay closed. It is confusing, distracting,annoying and a plain nuisance!
    Can you please now remove it and/or reply at least to me? This is my second request and perhaps I ws overlooked the first time? It is okay but now please and know the courtesy of a reply would be sincerely appreciated. Thank You
