Ads
I see you've made the ads side bar larger with no way to make it smaller, only to reduce the size of my email space. This is unconscionable.? Soon it will just be big ads and a little space to read our emails. Plus we can't eliminate these ads. Any ideas how to keep this decades long time client?

Multiple Large Ads to the Right of Every E-Mail
AOL has suddenly forced not one, not two, but MULTIPLE ads to the right of each e-mail panel—and you made them considerably larger as well—to the point that all e-mails are now of a minuscule size.
As I've said before, you can never have too many ads—and as large as you can possibly make them—right, AOL?
Why don't you just come right out and say it? You want to get rid of all your long-time loyal customers and become exclusively a huge ad platform. Trouble is, you won't have anyone left to whom to advertise.
Ever think of that, AOL?

Latest update
your latest software update is a step backwards. Does not honor my email preference to list oldest mail first, and takes forever to delete items from spam folder. how do I get rid of the latest update?

Still the same problems after update
Still getting Not Responding after your update this past week. Still having lag time in opening emails and when they're loading. When deleted list of SPAM and deleted emails appear for permanent deletion, shaded lines appear before everything is loaded/appears. there is also lag time and not instant like it use to be. Ads still appear in my main email...why am i paying for GOLD??? You said to report a bug and I did but I'm sure other people are still having these problems as well. TEST BEFORE RELEASE!!!

This new feature needs to have an option to be turned off.
Don't like it, would never use it.

Folders on AOL Desktop Gold are not alphabetically in order
The folders on AOL Desktop Gold are not in alphabetical order. Some folders are in order but some are not. On webmail, it works fine.

I don't knlw what you have done, but un do it. Takes for ever to load, Takes forever for mail to open takes forever to download attachement
The latest update is nuts. What ever you did has screwed up AOL to the point I may have to leave after 30 years. It takes forever to load, forever to open email, takes forever to allow a download to my computer,
i am running Windows 11, with updates.

Get gid of the warnings at the top of email...now two layers for God's sake...NO wrnings!!!

requested message or attachment does not exist. Code EC-4007 Every email. And the spam folder I am having to over and over try to delete. This is annoying after being with AOL for more than 20 years. I called and they said they had no idea why.

I have been a subscriber almost since you began. Your ideas to make things more convenient are just designed to expose to more advertising. Enough is enough.

When trying to add the account on the Aol Desktop Gold i see the error " We could not sign you in. Try again from a different device. "

CompuServe Gold sounds
It would be great to have the CompuServe welcome/gotmail/goodbye sounds on the CompuServe Gold client instead of the AOL sounds.
I have the sound files from a CompuServe 2000 install if you need them.
