  1. Restore ability to Move an email from the Sent folder to any folder I have already created on My PC, by clicking on Move To and On My PC.

Restore ability to Move an email from the Sent folder to any folder I have already created on My PC, by clicking on "Move To" and "On My PC." The revision 11.0.3376 apparently changed this. I can still move an email from the New folder to any folder I have already created on My PC, by clicking on "Move To" and "On My PC." However, now I can only Move from my Sent folder by dragging the email to a folder I have already created in the list of "My Mail Folders." This is not a satisfactory solution for me.…

  2. Why doesn't the 'delete' key actually mean delete? Why do you then have to go back and "permanently delete". ?

Having to go back and "permanently" delete items us ridiculous and a huge waste of time, energy, and digital space for which there is no good reason. The delete key just ought to say "permanently delete" and be done with it.

  3. How about everyone drop AOL

aol is payed for a service they say they can provide. The issue of not being able to see my Favorite page has been sent to AOL several times. Maybe it is the Desktop gold that is the problem. Even an aol tech could not / can not correct the issue. How many people like paying for something they can not have? Maybe people should drop aol and find a more trustworthy service

  4. Lead story - no comments allowed

NO COMMENTS ALLOWED ON LEAD STORIES
Just like right now you have an NBC News story about Biden being in a bind re the border problems. This is a story of national concern -- AOL highlights it as the # 1 story, but no comments allowed.
Stop putting up major news items as this if you do not allow comments.
NBC views are very different from many of your users.
DO NOT POST TOP NEWS STORIES UNLESS COMMENTS ALLOWED!!

  7. AOL Gold-previous commentator

I was a loyal UK commentator during the early days. I now find my AOL Gold is inaccessible and I have lost my Address Book. I am happy to pay but this is blocked. Please make AOL Gold accessible to the UK. Alternatively, return the earlier version of Address Book - which is used on Gold

  11. Is there any way you can add a box to list safe senders and domains so they don't wind up in SPAM?

There are times when domains wind up in the SPAM folder and I tell it not SPAM but all it takes is once for me not to catch it before I delete it and I am kicked out of that domain. Is there any way you can add a box to list safe senders and domains so they DON'T wind up in the spam folder? You have the reverse box - naming definite SPAM sites. Can you do the safe box as well?

  12. Privacy setting bug

Now I find that not only can't I comment because of my so-called Privacy Settings, I'm blocked from reading articles. What good is AOL if I can't use it to capacity? Oh, rhetorical question - NO GOOD AT ALL. Please fix it! Thank you!

  13. Privacy settings problems AGAIN

I do not turn off my computer - ever! I have set Privacy Settings to allow everyone to see my content, more than six times already. But every time I try to play a game I'm told I have to set my Privacy Settings. I click to ON and it doesn't work. I click to OFF and it doesn't work - I can't play a game. Get rid of this bug because it's INFURIATING!

  14. AOL tends to reject e-mail every now and then

Hi Carrie,I thought that might have been the case, as I know that AOL tends to reject e-mail every now and then.  It doesn't go into my spam file, as I check that every day... they simply reject it.  I've lost several e-mail subscriptions over the years this way.  Thanks for getting back to me.Ed In a message dated 8/20/2021 12:01:17 AM Eastern Standard Time, nsga@nsga.com writes:Hi Ed,Thank you for contacting the National Senior Games Association (NSGA).NSGA records indicate that your qualification notice was emailed to edharrski@aol.com.  It seems that certain email providers (i.e., AOL, Comcast, Cox, Cybermesa, Verizon) block or filter some…

  15. Add "To" Address to Address Book Automatically

Please restore the feature that added the "To" address to the Address Book automatically when sending an e-mail. This used to be an optional setting, but that option is no longer there.

  16. Address book does not load

I've posted this and many other bugs thru Report Bug many times with no resolution. On PC Win 10 when initiating an email by right-clicking a file and selecting "Send to > Mail Recipient" while the AOL app is NOT open, the AOL app correctly opens a Write Mail mail window, but does NOT load your saved addresses in the To: field.

  17. Make it possible for users to print out a website address list of My Favorites

Please provide a way for an AOL user to print out the website addresses of all their Favorites. If I could have printed my Favorites I would have an easy reference now that installing AOL on a new computer did not populate my Favorites and to make it worse, I can't put any favorites in My Favorites on the "new" AOL installation.

  18. Address Book

    To who it may concern:

I think this this something that ought to be changed right away........

You can not put AOL's address book in alphabetical order...........

If you look up something in any phone book or any other address book, you will see; that they always start with the last name first. then the first name, etc NOT TRUE WITH AOL. Also, when you are fixing
things in the address box, let the client be able to arrange the columns
of information in any order they feel that works better for them. Should be an easy fix.

    Thank you for your feedback.

It sounds like your address book is currently sorted by relevance. To change it to alphabetical sort:

    - In the upper right of your address book, just to the left of “Quick Find” is the “Sort By”option.
    - Click on the arrow to the right of “Relevance”
    - Select Contact name to alphabetize your list.

As for your suggestion to be able to choose the order columns are displayed in, we will share that with the product team. You can select which columns you wish to see in the settings, but it is not currently possible to choose how those columns are arranged.

    Thank you for the idea!

  19. Desktop Beta - Subscription Required

In the past, Beta clients for AOL Desktop could create a separate AOL account to use for the sole purpose of software testing by clicking the link in the AOL Desktop Beta FAQ page. At present, that link does not work because it leads to the subdomain 'i.aol.com' which no longer resolves. In addition, when I create a 'free' account to test with, I receive a 'Subscription Required' notice upon attempting to sign in to the Desktop client. This makes sense, but I don't want to use my paid subscriber account for the purpose of Beta testing - I would…
