Erroneously removed my phone number to verify my account
I was asked to confirm if my verification phone number was my mobile phone. It isn’t. It’s a landline. But as soon as I said it’s not mobile, I was told “Got it! We removed that # from your account”. I can’t seem to add it again, or any other verification. How can I protect my account now?!

When using a swiping motion to scroll up or down it seems if I make any inadvertant motion ever-so-slightly to the side, I'm in another mess
When using a swiping motion to scroll up or down it seems if I make any inadvertant motion ever-so-slightly to the side, I'm in another message. The setting should be more than 45 degrees to either side to indicate a side swipe and not 5-10 as it seems. As a result I have to then switch to Old Mail to read my new mail. What a pain.

Trying to reset a password with free help site
Help site doesn't work when you send the code to the current email account that I can't log into. Tried calling support who tries to charge us for reset when your free service doesn't work. I will cancel all aol accounts if you can't reset my password for free. Initial customer service person would not reach a manager for me. On with a tech support person now who is giving me the same story. I asked for an email address for a supervisor, manager or CEO - nothing. You guys suck. Changing all services over to gmail. Automatically open next email after deleting settings like apple’s email app
In the iOS aol app I would like the option to turn on or off the automatically open next email after deleting a email. That away it will make everyone happy. If your like me I go through and delete the ones I don’t want before I even think about reading any and then the only one I have left are the ones I know and want to read. And maybe even have a setting for email and one for spam. I usually erase all spam without reading anyway. Thanks

Stored Passwords and security risks
passwords have to be stored on your device for the convenience of not having to sign in - but that comes with a risk because if your phone is hacked they get your password and lock you out of your account!
Unless you have two factor authentication or are using a fingerprint password those would be ok
Our phone was hacked to get our email password. this can happen if you click a link or go to a website that’s fake

Used Finger Tip to login
I have to change my password everyday. Changed it Wednesday, tried to login on Thursday and it said PASSWORD INVALID! No it isn’t! Used fingertip verification to login like Bank of America uses
