Read Comments "Before" Banning Someone
I certainly understand that comments to news articles may be offensive.
I also think AOL jumps the gun and bans people from commenting before actually reading their comment.
In a divided country, it's difficult not to offend someone without walking on eggshells. I fell victim to AOL's "overly strict" censorship and was banned. Unfairly, I believe.

Please Start letting me comment again. I have no idea why I have been banned. At least let me know why I have been banned and not your boiler plate message about making someone uncomfortable. I am sure I did not violate any of your standards. If you are going to ban someone, may I suggest that you at least let them know.

I posted a problem I'm having with the comments page. I no longer get notified when someone likes or responds to my comments and my reputation points converts to 0. What happened to my post and why don't I ever get a response?

Objective credible older people need to supervise them as well.

I did not violate any TOS at all at anytime.. also the moderators don't give any warning, AND I am paid aol client and have been with AOL for over 20 years. Please fix the moderator problem. -
auto stay connected
Why not get rid of the box to check if you want to stay connected, IT DOES NOT WORK, Every time I want to comment on an article I have to re login, what use is the box. Another complaint is that why does aol post an article if you aren't able to comment on it. Useless!!

Why is it all right to call Democrats Dims but not Republicans Repugnants??

please find a way to reduce your pop-up ads
SO MANY TIMES I've clicked onto one of your many interesting news stories only to be bombarded with so many pop-up ads that I lose interest after a page or two. If you want people like me to continue with your service please find a way to change this situation. I realize that the ads play for your services, but if I can't read a story without these numerous interruptions, I will find a way to not need your service.
