can't sent emails, get error smtp.verizon.net port 465 not connecting to server. contact ISP. Please help

There is no way to improve on a total rip-off like this support offering. This will result in my cancellation of all my VERIZON services that currently cost me over $150.00 a month (no TV). You can't even fix a malfunctioning smtp connection with your $5.00 a month plan. What a joke.
