Get rid of the "scroll-changes-page" feature
On every single website that this feature has been rolled out to, it's been an abject failure of UX. Users can no longer control navigation on this website and others, and sometimes they lose an article they've been reading for good b/c of some convoluted, arcane bug that even an experienced developer like me can't wrap his head around. Worst of all, the page-change erases comments in-progress. That might be why there's comparatively little engagement on TechCrunch compared to sites that don't use this navigational defect. Getting directed through guce.advertising.com no matter what link I choose
When trying to access your techcrunch.com at work, I get immediately directed to a link at guce.advertsing.com. That website is blocked and I cannot proceed to your website. Since this is a work (govt) internet, I have no control over this blocking. This keeps me from ever viewing your site.
